They add an automatic gratuity no matter the size of your party and the slow waiter did not tell us that. Nice place and decent but expensive food and drinks. The service is slow especially if it's crowded but they don't care because you have no choice but to tip. Never going back if I can help it.

They serve you premium alcohol without asking you first and then you end up with a bill that jumps out of the roof!
Not really business friendly!

Every time I'm in town, i have to get their deviled eggs.
If you are anywhere near midtown, you won't regret it if you stop in.

I usually always read reviews along with checking the star ratings, I didn't do it before eating here and I'm still paying for it 24+ hours later. The perfect review has already been written by by someone else, it is spot on.

One waiter for the entire floor. He held his own for a bit, no one person should be asked to serve that many tables/people.

We ordered drinks (easy enough) and basic burgers with cheese, a cheeseburger, simple. We got the condiment packets mentioned by others, exactly ONE ketchup packet for the burger, more were given upon asking. Burger looked sketch, anemic for the price, and oh, the "house" chips, definitely dumped from a bag of Lays or similar. From the first bite of the burger it was undeniably bad. Old meat? Probs. Freezer burned old meat? Very likely. It tasted old, gamey, awful.

Very convenient location, the good ends there. Proceed at your own risk. For drinks alone, should be fine. For dining, maybe something other than the burger......

Had an absolutely horrible experience. The server was borderline rude, food we ordered never came out, and they made our drinks wrong 3 times. Once the bill came, we figured out why it wasn’t a big issue to any of the staff - automatic 18% gratuity…. Sorry for inconveniencing you this evening, no chance of us ever coming back.

Very basic food, I told black female bartender what I wanted to order for my gf(a common practice for us) and she just rebuffed me like she was no ill pick for her. My lady disliked the drink greatly because I know she doesn't like what the bartender picked awful experience.

Goodness gracious, this place used to be great, and now it’s terrible. I used to send out-of-towners here when they would see a show at The Fox. I hope I haven’t done that recently. What P&P was at its founding and for a few years thereafter: delightfully clubby atmosphere, well mixed drinks created by serious mixologists, food that was unique and satisfying, gracious service. It was worth whatever they charged PLUS what you were paying the babysitter back at home for your night out. What it is now: garish lighting, grubby, worn-out, sticky menus, frozen burger patties cooked to oblivion, condiment packets (like you’re at Burger King), “house chips” poured straight out of the Lays bag, watered-down martinis (ordered a martini because they no longer had the barrel-aged cocktails shown prominently on their menu, which should’ve been our cue to leave) , and indifferent service.Find yourself a better place for a bite near The Fox. There are plenty.

Hard to find the entrance but once inside it was great! We came here to blow some time before going to the Fox. Drinks were great (wife ordered a mojito and I had a beer…no beer on tap here btw. Only cans). Cool vibe, great service. Ordered a quesadilla and it was great. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic environment, fantastic food and drink! Eric the bartender is an incredibly nice guy! He will take care of you and make sure you have a good time. All of the staff were phenomenal. I’ll be back in a year for Eric alone.

Cute little speakeasy style bar. I didn't order any drinks but I did get the BLT. It was tasty. Come with chips. Fries are on the menu but they no longer serve fries. I was extremely disappointed about that but the BLT was really good. My friends ordered the burger and pretzle and said they were great. Another friend ordered the gumbo and said it was okay. I'd recommend for a late night snack.

We were staying at the hotel and visited after a show at the Fox. It was def busy walking in, but we were able to share a large booth with a very sweet couple. Our server Jessica was wonderful and we found a new favorite - Hot Tequlia Cosmo and had several and enjoyed a fun evening. The hummus plate was a great late night snack - the other couple had a GIANT pretzel that they enjoyed - def a stop if you are in the area.

Vegetarian options: Hummus plate was good!
