I sent my husband in with an odd request. Not only did Darren handle it with ease, but the food was incredible! Thanks for the rice and beans, Darren. You helped tame this hangry monster.

Our local Dunwoody Fine Arts Association hung some paintings here during October's Fine Arts Month. I had never been to this restaurant, but this was where I was assigned (among some other artists) for my art. While we were hanging the art in the restaurant, the staff was really friendly. While there, I checked out the menu and decided that I would bring my husband back in the next week for dinner. Being from California, I am a true lover of Mexican food and have a high standard concerning this genre. Personally, I judge a Mexican restaurant on its rice and beans. It may sound funny, but these are often the basics for many Mexican dishes, so I put a lot of weight on the taste and preparation of these two common sides. The rice was outstanding, as were the black beans. I ordered as my main dish the taquitos, and they were delicious. They were served with a creamy guac, which was very tasty. The side pico de gallo was a nice compliment to the mild creamy guac, as it had a definite bite. Also impressive is the table salsa served with chips...perfectly seasoned with just a little kick. (I like it that way). We all enjoyed our dinners, and feel I have found my new favorite local spot for Mexican food! Note: I have some food allergies, and though I didn't mention them to our waiter, my food arrived per my request, minus the dairy. They are attentive to details. (the photo was taken the day we were hanging the art)

We had the Brisket Quesadilla- it was absolutely delicious. Going to order it next time. The Queso dip, new salsa and chips are great as well. They have changed their name and under new management. The prices are unchanged- amazing. The food is better. Service is great. Try out the lobster Queso dip, delicious.
Good food and good value! Will be coming back
The food was good. The 2 female staff were awesome with my family. The owner was there and acknowledged the other table but didn't even want to speak with us at all. There were only 2 tables. We heard "good" things about Chupito's. After living here in Dunwoody for over 5 years, we just haven't gotten around to dining here, and this was the experience. Debating on going back to retry or just sticking with Los Hermanos where they actually know us by name due to how often we go.

Definitely 5 stars for us!! We are from Alabama, and have eaten there twice while visiting family. We highly recommend this restaurant ! Great food, great staff, great atmosphere! If you like Mexican cuisine done right, you owe it to yourself to go there for a fun experience! Thanks Chupito’s!
I been coming here for years and it doesn't disappoint. Service and atmosphere is great. Food comes out quick and is delicious! My go-to order is the Nachos Locos with a Michelob Ultra!

Great tasting, authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price. Aaron the owner is amazing and enjoys saying hi to customers. One of the places I take people from out of town for lunch or drinks.
Another note is on certain holidays, this is a very fun place to eat and have a few drinks. Strongly recommend ordering the #1 lunch with the white cheese instead of red sauce :)

Need a caterer? Look no further than Chupitos in Dunwoody.
We used Chupitos to cater a party of 29 to celebrate our son’s engagement. We couldn’t be happier with our choice. We opted for the fajita bar: grilled chicken and grilled steak with grilled onions and grilled peppers, served with flour and corn tortillas, rice, refried beans, black beans, grilled vegetables, pico de gallo, lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream. We asked for grated cheese too. No problema! Oh, and mounds, and I do mean mounds, of chips and freshly made salsa. All at a reasonable price. Our guests loved it, most returning for seconds and some even for thirds. We had enough for a small army. Darren Benda, the proprietor and Dunwoody native, was a delight to work with and personally delivered the food. And it wasn’t a mere handoff at the back door, as was our experience with a previous caterer. Instead, Darren laid out the entire feast and was gone in a jiffy!
So, if you like Mexican food (who doesn’t?!), and you’re looking to cater a relatively small event like ours, or something much larger, give Darren a call. You and your guests will be very happy that you did.

Dunwoody is so lucky to have this gem of a restaurant in our community. Food is great but Darren and his staff are even better! They were welcoming, flexible, easy to work with and did an amazing job catering for a recent teacher appreciation event! Definitely visit this local restaurant, you won’t be sorry!

While we have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years now, it has reformed itself under Darren Benda’s care. We catered food on May 5th, their busiest day. Food was fresh, flavorful, exquisite and more than adequate in quality and quantity! The fajita bar was a hit with our guests with chicken, shrimp, steak and a wide selection of vegetables. We had all the fixins’ guac, pico, queso, rice, beans, salsa, sour cream…YUM!!! I highly recommend the tres leches cake. Darren made sure we had chafing dishes, plates, spoons, napkins…they thought of everything!!We love Chupitos, their staff and chefs. We will return every week to dine in but will now add them to our preferred caterers as well.Thank you!!!!
