El Bandido Mex Mex Grill

I used to love eating here, but that was before all of the failed health inspections. I will never eat here again. Total filth.

We ate here a few months ago and it was the worst Tex-Mex food we have ever had the misfortune to eat. They were out of most items. It seemed as if only 2 people were working here on a Thursday night. The place smelled of mildew.
Tortilla chips tasted burnt and as if the oil used to cook them was several days old.
When our food arrived it was beyond bland and watered down making us think they boiled it rather than actually cooked it on a grill. My partner had to send her food back because it was cold in the center.
We paid ,left and will never come back. This place is disgusting.

Do NOT come here !! I ordered tacos and these were what i received. I was in shock! it looked like I couldve done a better job at it myself. This place is definitely going down in my books as one of the worst restaurants i have ever been to. Just truly so disgusting and inedible…please save your money! I also have to mention that I ordered to-go and while i was waiting for my order an insect (looked like a flying cockroach) was crawling on my pants.

Food was inedible. Meat tasted rotten, rice tasted like it had been left out for days. This place used to be good. So sad. Waitress was excellent though. Whole place smelled like marijuana.

This place just received a 56/100 on health inspection please don’t eat here. Leaving this as a warning because a friend and I ate here a few months ago and it was inedible. The chicken in the tacos was pink and seemed like it was from a can

If I could leave negative stars I would. The place was dead when Little 5 was hoppin'. It smelled bad. The hostess said "half of the menu is out. But I don't know what." And I observed her not clean the baby chair after it was used next to us and then proceeded to sit in the dining room on her phone the entire time. Margaritas were disgusting mix and no alcohol hardly at all. The food was inedible. I got the nachos grande and I couldn't touch it as the meat tasted canned, beans had no flavor and there were chunks of cheese. My daughters got the quesadilla and it tasted grainy and they didn't touch the rice and beans (which says a lot as they will legit gobble up rice and beans). My husband got the chili Colorado and it says it was "ok." The beans were the absolute worst. I honestly don't know how they are open. Stay far far away.

The tacos were overcooked as well as the rice. No bueno.

My family and I have given this spot a try multiple times now and each time we leave saying “why did we go back?” The servers have never heard of urgency in their entire lives, the food is okay at best, and the cost is unbelievably high for the quality. Don’t bother ordering a drink from the bar, it’ll never come. Oh, also the “atmosphere” is giving sitting in a trash alley. It’s half closed down with dust bunnies in every corner. There are a million better places around the city. Honestly surprised this place even has a 3.9

Do NOT eat here! Scored 56 on their health inspection for molded jalapeños, molded tomatoes, and molded corn. The inspector observed a worker that had a cut on their lip that wasn’t properly covered up and excessive amount of build up on the cutting boards and microwave. This restaurant needs to close down for the audacity of being this nasty. Playing with peoples’ health and money like that - NO!
