I have been here a few times before and it was great. Since then, the entire atmosphere changed since last time I was here, the staff has become absolutely rude to the point of I cannot believe I have paid to get into this atmosphere nor for drinks. The restroom lines were absurd, and the bartender argued with me about the order I made. Will never return. It was once such a good spot

We came on saturday 11/1 around 10:30pm- Rum drink was $18, $22 ish after tip. There was a huge ice cube in it and I kid you not, the cup was basically empty I had to snap a pic. Dj sucked, no one was dancing and just a bunch of loud and poorly dressed people in nike hoodies or in cheap costumes. I would recommend going to Lore. Oh and it reeked of weed. We left after 20 min!

This place is a mess. Everyone is packed like sardines, you can’t talk to your group, you can’t dance, and getting to the bar is impossible. There’s four bathrooms so you wait in line for 30 minutes with an annoying bathroom bouncer dictating where you stand and is hassling you.

Atmosphere was cool, music was good but apparently someone threw up in the floor by the exit and one of the guys that worked there was like “what do you want me to do about it?” So he’s on the wall watching other people walk through it and not doing anything about it. I won’t be back. Bathroom staff were great. One of the bartenders forgot I ordered a drink but he gave me 2 shots on the house to make up for it.

Had the pleasure of getting to use El Malo for a commercial, and I am incredibly pleased with the service and atmosphere of this spot! Loren & her staff are really fun & easy to work with, and they made the day so smooth. This bar is really cool with some very friendly service. Can't wait to come back and try the drinks!

I really enjoyed the place! Vibes were immaculate, service was nice, I highly recommend the guacamole, pica de Gallo, and plantain chips they had. It was soooo delicious! All their drinks sound quite strong, so as a sweet girl, I usually order off the menu as it's a full bar. I got a passionfruit tequila reposado lemondrop and an amaretto sour which were both really nicely made. I arrived at 8:55PM on a sunday night. By doing so, I was able to avoid paying the $10 cover fee I've heard about. Since it was a sunday night as well, it was clubby, but not as packed as it may be on a friday and saturday night. I would recommend going on a sunday or weekday night to get the full experience.
Yes there is a gratuity on the checks, but that is perfectly fine. I added more on top as I really enjoyed my experience <3.

We didn’t get to eat, but the menu looked great. Their Mexican Independence Day event was a lot of fun, and the lighting and seating gave the place a calm and unique atmosphere. Overall, it’s a nice venue with a different vibe that made the experience.

Terrible time locating the place along with others, had to stand in line, then once we got in you have to fight through the crowd just to get to the restroom, and once you make it, there’s a line, we had to wait almost 10 min. After all that we left shortly after.
