WOW!! Best cuban sandwich!! The ropa vieja bowl was also amazing as was the guava and cheese pastalito.

We came here for breakfast and had the fried egg Cubano and the Mallorca sandwich. Delicious!

I’ve been a regular here for years and everything has always been above and beyond. From hectors menu to whom he trusts to run the establishment. From friendly kitchen staff to outstanding service. The manager Kaylee is always helping everyone and always offering suggestions to guests. Erics is always tending the bar for lunch and keeping guests company while making sure all the Togo food is coming out on time. Drinks are always amazing and the food is beyond amazing. I’ve had everything on this menu more times than imaginable and seeing this place remain the staple it is has done nothing but warm my heart every time I come in.

Wow! I've seen this place a dozen times at the Battery and never went, but today while in the Ponce City Market, I stopped by just to see what they had to offer. Jada immediately greeted me and was so courteous and honest when I asked her opinion on the menu items. She even made a suggestion when I was stuck between a few menu options and man- her suggestion did not disappoint! The flavor profile is hands down one of the best meals I've had this calendar year. I'm not easily impressed, in fact- I'm usually quite critical. However, they were clean, prompt to serve, the food was hot, seating was comfortable and convenient but it's the food... the food is spectacular! I ordered a Beef Pastelito to start while waiting for my meal and the Shrimp Al Ajillo Mofongo bowl with a side of yuca fries made by Miguel and Alejandro.

Perfect textures, seasonings, temperature and portion size (would only have liked a little more of the broth for the mofongo)! I'm also 9 months pregnant and very sensitive to smells and find a lot of aversions to random foods so this place was a pleasant surprise and was so good I started this review before finishing my food. I'm so glad I stopped here and am already thinking about the next time I come back.

Jada checked on me often but not in a harassing way and topped my water consistently. The music was a nice touch.
10/10 recommend!

I don’t know who’s cooking behind the counter, but they putting FLAVOR in each cubic inch of the mofongo. I got the tofu on the side and it came with an orange colored sauce, which was salty but overall, it was delicious.

Located in Ponce City Market, the aroma of spice and seasonings drew us in. I had a Super bowl with Mofongo and Shrimp al ajillo - it was so good. We also had beef empanadas that were delicious, too.
