When I first stopped here and saw the line I thought “ya probably gonna pass on dis”. Even more so when I stood there for over 30 mins. Glad to say it was completely worth it and totally justified why they get lines all the way to the street. While the price is a bit high you will not feel bad about it after the first bite.

I’m not huge fan of Mexican food but my Airbnb host recommended it and it was within walking distance of the house, so I decided to try it out. This was a neat little spot with amazing tacos.

Man do I love El Tesoro. Lots of outdoor seating with a nice atmosphere. The burritos are soooo good, and you must get the roasted salsa!

Pretty good Mexican food in Atlanta. The tacos are bigger than expected and very tasty and the queso with chorizo is delicious. The cocktails were not my favorite, I think their sour mix is not made with fresh lime juice which is a bit of a letdown but overall still worth the visit.

Great veggie burrito! Nice outdoor seating. Wait was really long on a Sunday afternoon. However it was well worth the wait! Burrito was tasty and filling.

Five stars for food and atmosphere - love this place!

But an appeal to anyone reading this review: for the love of God have your order ready when you get to the counter!! The line moves so slowly because every person gets to the counter and suddenly acts like they’ve never heard of tacos before. You just spend HALF AN HOUR in line with a giant menu in your face - could you not have your order ready to go?? The 30-40 min wait times are 100% because of the idiots who get up to the front and “hmmmm…” for 5 minutes as if they forgot they needed to actually order food. Come on people!

Been in Atlanta for 2 decades and absolutely LOVE Mexican food. I’ve tried all the other spots in town that people recommend and just hadn’t made my way over here yet. We came in last night and ordered a large amount of food to try everything. It was OUTSTANDING, truly amazing. Can’t wait to come back here ASAP.

Tesoro has such a cool, picnic-style vibe — complete with a cozy fire pits that makes the whole place feel like a fun dhaba/street-style hangout! The food was genuinely good, fresh, and full of flavor. Super family-friendly too, so the kids had a great time while we relaxed. A great spot to unwind, enjoy tasty Mexican dishes, and soak in the outdoor ambiance.

The burritos may be the best in Atlanta, and the vibes are great, just be prepared for a wait.

Mexican restaurant with old school Atlanta vibe. In a Saturday afternoon, it was a solid 30+ min wait in line to order food, then prob 20 minutes to receive it. Overall food was good - a tad spicy for my tastes. Food decently priced but the alcohol is pricey - $25 margarita is high! While you’re in line, a server does walk by to take drink orders. Chips ($4.50) so come with a decent amount of salsa, which I appreciate. The mildest one was still a bit spicy for me

Great outdoor seating (no indoor seating). Tons of dogs!

Loved my tacos here, would come back in a heartbeat. Great beer selection, margaritas, and all at a reasonable price.
