I wanted to like it…but this is really expensive to be so mid.Drinks: meh. Don’t order the pisco sour. I’ve actually had them in Peru and Chile. If you’re looking for a correctly made pisco sour inside the perimeter, go to Tío Luchos. We ordered other cocktails and they were just okay. Didn’t try the wine or beer.Food: so meh . Nothing came out hot despite there being maybe 3-4 other small tables of people. Don’t let these other reviews fool you, the ceviche is sub par. We ordered all 4 empanadas. I only tried the beef and I thought it was on the bland side. My friend ordered the chicken arepa, it’s just a chicken salad sandwich inside an arepa…he didn’t finish it. I order the shrimp skewers. Once again, not hot and just okay. Pretty expensive price point for what it is. Btw they do NOT have tapas. They label it as tapas but they are actually platos and the price points reflects that.Service: our waitress was sweet and accommodating.Overall: completely confused why this is 4.9 stars. It should be 3.5 at best. It’s midtown so they have to price the dishes where they’re at to at least break even…but the food is just okay. Sad that I have to give such a negative review but I wanted to be honest.Would I return? Hard No.

El Vinedo is such a vibe! The staff are amazing and extremely personable. Katia, Bella, and Keith were especially amazing and made for a pleasant experience. I’m so sad that it’s only my first time here and I’ve been in Midtown for almost 4 years now. I highly recommend!I forgot to mention, there’s a patio as well!

Me and my friend were on our way to the fox theater tonight for a show and decided to stop by and grab a bite before the show. We didn’t have reservations but the staff was friendly and accommodating. Simone was our server tonight and she was amazing! She recommended the octopus and the lomo saltado which we ended up getting and it was a 10/10 experience. Their outdoor seating was sooo cute and cozy!! Definitely a vibe. I would come by again if I’m ever back in town and visiting!
