Excited to try smtg new. However…

1. It’s hard to find this place. Intentional? Literally no signage.

2. It was empty on Friday night. I thought…well… it’s hard to find. Unfortunately it probably because the food is extraordinarily mediocre.

Hummus was way off on texture and taste, which for a Mediterranean restaurant, should be disqualifying.

Octopus— why would anyone deep fry a beautiful piece of octopus? Dry. Flavorless.

Kofta — I guarantee you’ve had better for half the price.

Harrisa fries— you could make better at home.

3. Service was excellent but couldn’t save the terrible food.

I doubt we see this open for much longer

We came to Elektra for our friend’s birthday dinner after one of us had a great brunch experience there, so we were excited to return.

Unfortunately, dinner didn’t live up to that first visit. After we sat down, our drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive, which felt oddly slow. The same thing happened when we ordered a second round and again with our main dishes. Our server was polite and kept apologizing for the delays, but after a while it felt repetitive — we would have preferred quicker service over multiple apologies.

We were also seated right next to the host stand, and the host appeared to be listening to our conversation throughout the evening. When we mentioned the slow service among ourselves, the host stepped away and returned with our server, which made the situation feel awkward and uncomfortable.

On a positive note, the drinks and food were good, just not particularly memorable or worth the wait. Overall, the experience was underwhelming.

We were looking for a new Mediterranean restaurant to try, and wasn't initially aware that the restaurant inside the hotel.

The decor was relaxing, music was the right volume, and our waitress Darian was a star! She recommended the cauliflower appetizer and it may be our favorite thing to eat this year! Everything was delicious (the octopus is as good as we've ever had it) and the service was A+ (we decided to split a beer with dessert and she brought it to us served in two chilled glasses without us asking).

The only thing that fell short were our cocktails (the martini didn't taste like a martini and my paper plane tasted like the martini that didn't taste like a martini), but that may be a fluke and we will be back!

Mezzo platter was the best! Chicken kabob (only 1 is served) was better than lamb. You can skip dessert…carrot cake was ok, not worth $12. Kind of dry, and the smaller scoop of ice cream.

I’ve visited for both dinner and brunch, and while the food is consistently excellent, the service is painfully slow. On both occasions, I actually had to leave my table to track down a waiter just to get water, place my order, or pay the check. The place was pretty dead and the servers were just hanging out talking to each other. The kitchen is doing a great job, but the front-of-house management needs a complete overhaul.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. We’ve been here at least 5 times now - and we’ve brought family and friends. You can also order their food to be brought to you in the forth club. The salmon is the best salmon I’ve had in Atlanta. Even comparing this spot to other Atlanta Mediterranean restaurants, it comes out on top. Service has always been top notch, the servers and host are always extremely kind. My boyfriend can’t have nuts and my cousin has celiac disease, and they can always accommodate this. Drinks are amazing as well!

The view is also beautiful, very comfortable to sit in or outside!

We visited Elektra for brunch as part of our hotel stay. The food itself was good overall, but the service left me feeling disappointed, particularly around food allergy awareness and accommodation.

I have several food allergies, which were clearly listed, but there was very little proactive support from our server. No recommendations were offered, and I had to repeatedly ask whether dishes contained nuts. We ordered the hummus with ground lamb after I explicitly noted my allergy, only to discover that it contained pine nuts. Thankfully, I noticed before taking a bite. The server was apologetic and replaced the dish, which I appreciated, but the explanation that it was a kitchen error rather than his responsibility was unsettling. From a guest perspective, it does not matter where the mistake occurred. What matters is that something unsafe made it to the table, and if I had not caught it, the consequences could have been serious.

There were also some seating challenges. With children running around nearby, we asked to move outside, but after being seated in direct sun, we had to move again. It ultimately took three table changes before we found a comfortable spot, which added to the overall frustration.

The restaurant did comp the hummus, and I appreciated that effort to make things right. Still, between the allergy mishandling and the seating issues, the experience makes me hesitant to return. The food has potential, but stronger communication, coordination, and allergy protocols would make a significant difference.

Nice atmosphere and nice food, but the service is a disaster. We sat down for 20min with no server greeting or water. The server finally came and we ordered. After another 5min there was still no water served and we had to grab someone to get us water. Then the first dish was served but no plates were handed. No one came to add water in between. So and so. We had to grab someone for all the basic things. It wasn’t even a busy time.

SAM! Girl you are the BEST server!!!! We had an explanation of every food in pure magical detail. All of our food was fresh and delicious. Everything in this restaurant represents upscale and amazing service from the entire team. My date and I enjoyed and both agreed we would eat here again. Thanks Sam so much for your service!

Perfect all around! The restaurant is set beautifully on the roof of the Forth Hotel, with views onto the outdoor deck and pool. Staff is friendly and food is delicious, especially the hummus and fluffy pita. Would absolutely come back!

I reserved my table for Sunday on Thursday. 15 minutes before my reservation, when I was 45 minutes into the drive, I get a call saying the restaurant had been closed for a private event, and I couldn’t go. The person who called didn’t seem apologetic and didn’t answer what I was saying properly. There could’ve been some courtesy in terms of when they informed me about this.
