This is THE BEST Ethiopian food in Atlanta! The portions are incredible and I am never disappointed. Always the warmest staff and I am so grateful for them.

This woman is rude and unwelcoming. I ordered a regular Kitfo over the phone for takeout, and their menu listed it as $14. However, she charged me nearly $22.

This was our first visit, about 7 PM on a weekday night. We shared the special which was so much more food than two people could ever eat! Three types of lentils and curry, the bread was done to perfection, there was a mildly spicy beef And a gently spiced beef, collard greens, an amazing stew beats, which even satisfies those that don’t like beats! Not to mention, every single bite was delicious. The service was spectacular, and the price is absolutely cannot be beat. Very authentic, great atmosphere, we returned the next day for lunch and chose a fish and stew that was equally as spectacular. If you go for nothing else, the conversations with the locals is worth the trip. Great location, easy parking, nice people, incredible food… What more could anyone ask for? Look forward to returning regularly.

Vegetarian options: The lentils, collard greens, and curries are all vegan and vegetarian

Dietary restrictions: Tons of options for those with restrictions.

Parking: Next to a laundry service, but plenty of room

Kid-friendliness: Great atmosphere for kids.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessibility.

Great experience. Delicious food. Even my picky husband enjoyed his meal (just requested no onions). Wonderful people, very accommodating. A delicious, unique lunch.

Shared a large Embilta special with a friend - probably could've fed 4 easily! Everything was delicious. Both of us were new to Ethiopian food, the minute we walked in we were hit with a tantalizing yet unfamiliar smell, and the food exceed our expectations! Served excellent coffee, too.

One of the best Ethiopian spots that I’ve been to in the metro-Atlanta area. The veggie plate was fresh and hot. I’ll be back to try the Awaze Tibs!

The food was delicious! We shared a large platter with kitfo, lentils, carrots, potatoes, beef ribs, beets, etc. A one woman show- cooking and serving. Authentic Ethiopian food- as good as in DC. We will return!

Parking: The restaurant is located in a strip mall. Open parking.

OUTSTANDING food! I was in town from North Carolina and decided to stop by for Tibs. I also got misir sambussa. Both were delicious and tasted homemade. So so delicious. The owner (Rahel) was very nice and so was the older tall slim gentleman who was helping out with the drinks when I walked in. They both represent TRUE Ethiopian hospitality.

I highly recommend this small restaurant when you're in Atlanta.
