Elote (street ?) was the only good thing on the menu and drinks. Food was under seasoned and not tasty at all.

While I enjoyed the atmosphere and our waitress was kind. Our party of 6 all realized the next day that we enjoyed each other's company so much we didn't get a chance to talk about how terrible the food was. The presentation of the dishes were great but the red flag should have been when I tried the salsa and it tasted like it was made with burnt tomatoes.

This place has the best fried SHRIMP TACOS. And the complimentary chips and bean dip are super tasty. Our server had magic ears and could hear the lowest requests we made. You know when you kind of mumble something you would like but hadn't committed to needing it? He (his name escapes me) heard all those random requests. Which was very much appreciated. The prices are decent and the drinks are good. Would definitely recommend this location.

I came in here with family this past Saturday evening while in town for the Thanksgiving weekend. With the many choices of tacos available, it would be foolish to have the same tacos that you had on your last visit. The Fried Chicken Tacos was my choice on this visit, and I was not disappointed. Served on flour tortillas with a jalapeno salsa, lettuce, cheese, and a pineapple pico, they were quite tasty. The platter, with three tacos, refried beans and rice, makes for a great dinner ($11.00). Another choice that was popular with the family was the Fried Shrimp Tacos ($15.00). The platter consisted of three fried shrimp tacos topped with a chipotle mayo and pico de gallo with refried beans and rice as sides. A thumbs up with the family. If you drink tequila, this is a place for you to visit. A great selection. The margaritas also received a thumbs up. Not being in a tequila mood, I had asked if there are any beers on draft. Unfortunately, Escorpion does not serve beer on draft. Only bottled or canned. And they have Dos Equis Amber available, which me and my niece's husband ordered. Escorpion also has local craft beers available. On both visits, the dining room is clean and seating is not cramped, the service is fantastic, and the food is great. Parking is available just behind the building. So if you are looking for some great tacos, enchiladas, and quesadillas, Escorpion is worth a visit. And the next time I visit, I may have to try those fried shrimp tacos.
