We came here for lunch and... The dishes were delectable while not trying too hard and not overtly superfluous. Sometimes simple is just perfect. And, Estrellita was just that for me.Honestly, I make the best adobo ever lol!!!However, I am really happy with Estrellita's adobo. I like it spicy so I asked for some sliced chilis to toss in my bowl instead of hot sauce. My best friend said that the pork sinigang soup was the bomb and soothed his hangover! We each got a Filipino BBQ add on and all I kept picturing in my head was being drunk in 1996 and eating one of these skewers from a street vendor in the streets of Manila. So good - So nostalgic - So Filipino. The Filipino Red Horse beer and Filipino Tanduay rum shot was strong and necessary! I might as well have been in the Philippines for real... Last but not least, the Ube bunt cake with Ube liqeur drizzle by Sweet Cheats was lusciously delicious and complemented the whole meal. Oh, the atmosphere and service by Aron and owner Hope was welcoming.

Great food, got the BBQ pork and short ribs and it was delicious. Not a lot of seating available inside, so go early or expect to be packed in or wait. Lovely service and sweet atmosphere!

Holy Mother of flavor!!! I chose this spot cause I continuously see deliveries for them as an Uber driver. Now I see why!! Literally THE BEST meal I've had from a restaurant in a while. You can taste the effort and the flavor profile.. somebody cares about the food they put out. My eyes rolled which how delicious it was.. lol. The salad, the rice, the side sauces.. all perfect. Will be ordering again tomorrow.

My friend and I were excited to try due to the Michelin rec and we like Filipino food but I think my friend's text afterward sums it up: "Thanks for coming out! Sorry the food was meh and overpriced--definitely underwhelming but wanted to try something new" We went with a group and ordered almost everything on the menu and it ranged from whatever to not great. Most of it was pretty bland and it really was very pricy for what we got (~$60 a person with drinks and tip). Lastly, a few hours after we got fairly nauseous. Can't say for sure that Estrellita was to blame but needless to say, I won't be returning.

Small place and it was full inside so we ate outside. Agreeable weather coupled with the noise of the city mixing with the birds made for nice ambiance. Everything we ate was hearty and wholesome, but I found the chicken skins overcooked-I feel like a product like that has so much potential, but it missed the mark for me. Pork adobo was okay. Vegetable lumpia was on point as was the bbq chicken. A simple salad of greens, tomato, onion, and heart of palm with a tasty house dressing was very nice. The french fries were tasty; seemed like the fryer oil was clean. Service was prompt, if a bit gruff. I’m not the sort of patron that needs to be pampered, but our server’s curt and sour demeanor was not a highlight of the overall experience. Despite that I’d be willing to give them another try next time I’m in the area as I’d like to try more of the menu. Portions were reasonable. Bathroom was clean. Overall, my family and I enjoyed it.

I was craving authentic Filipino food after a week of travel. We are Filipinos and were disppointed with the taste and quality. Plus Filipinos love rice! They served us with 3 spoonfull of rice? and we were confused when the server asked what sides do we want: salad or fries? What! Those dont come with Filipino dishes. Oh and my barbeque was burnt! If you are looking for authentic Filipino food then go elsewhere??‍♀️ I should have known when I called and they did not understand a single Filipino word I said ??‍♀️Service is good though, Ill give them that.

Great authentic Filipino food. Service is fast and friendly. Seating is limited. However, the ambiance is like your lola (grandma in filipino) did all the food and happened to take a few classes in interior design. I highly recommend the lechon belly and pork bbq skewers!

Speaking from an Asian background, the food was meh, mostly just salty and fatty after a couple of bites. It gets too much pretty quick, unless you have a beer. The food is more for the American palette. The service was friendly though. The portion for the ribs was also huge. Enough for 2 people for sure.

The food was excellent, as good as anything I had in the PI! I don't live in Georgia but as God is my witness when I am in ATLANTA, I will be here!

It is intimate. The food was perfect. One of the co-owners served us. No other staff was visible. It's a lovely space, too. Indoor and outdoor seating. I love it here. I'll be back. The fried chicken! So good. We also had chicken skins as our appetizer. I'll be back for the Adobo.

Really cool, hole in the wall type Filipino resto. My wife and I ordered the Bone Marrow, Half Fried Chicken and the Pork Kawali. No nonsense, simple and delicious food at a very reasonable price point. Dessert was Sansrival, and an ube liquor to cap off.We would definitely come back to try the rest of the dishes!Thank you to the staff, and to Walter! Wish you more success! - Josh (aka not Cookie$) ?

I loved Estrellita! Delicious Heart of Palm Salad, Lumpia and Fried Chicken. The Beik'd Sans Rival Minis at the end were the perfect sweet treat. I’ll be honest. Everything was so good, I forgot to take pictures.

In another episode of my Michelin Guide adventures, I took myself to Estrellita on a Saturday late afternoon. It's a small space, but very cozy and not a super long wait as they also have takeout customers coming in and out. I got the lumpia, pork belly, chicken skewers, and jasmine rice with french fries as a side. Everything felt like comfort food and was a hearty meal. The lumpia dip was so good, I wish I could buy a jar of it. I really want to try the oxtail lugaw that I've seen pictured on the internet, and of course the pork adobo and beef sinigang. Also plenty of street parking nearby! Love the wide open streets of Grant Park & surrounding neighborhoods.
