“This place is a STAPLE!!! The food is annoyingly good (I literally was SO full and was still taking little bites), and the service was amazing!!! Please stop by and get the Meat Lovers with Lamb, Chicken, and Ribeye. Oh, and get the Lemon Cake! You’re welcome :)“

“We finally got a chance to try Bahel after having it bookmarked for a while. As soon as we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, which was a great start.
The menu had several dishes we’ve had at other Ethiopian restaurants, so we ordered familiar items to compare. We went with the Bahel 1 Combo and chose chicken tibs, doro wot, shiro, gomen, and yellow lentils.
The food was ok. The Doro Wot had a sweeter taste than I'm used to, but it was decent, and the Chicken Tibs had a strong tomato flavor (not 100% sure it was tomato, but that's what came through), which didn't really work for me. The Shiro was excellent, though. I could've eaten that with some injera all by itself.
Overall, the experience was pleasant and the service was welcoming, but flavor-wise it didn’t quite hit enough for us to make it our go-to spot when we’re craving Ethiopian food.“

“I have never had Ethiopian food before but when browsing food options this place caught our eye for the veggie options. We (2 people) shared the Embilta special large. Some of the most wonderful seasoning and flavors I have EVER had!! The lady (Mrs Rachel I think I heard) was a very sweet lady and the most wonderful cook! We have plenty of leftovers to enjoy over the next days and the saddest thing Is I’m from out of town and can’t come back.. but I am now on the hunt for this food near my own home!! Thank you for the most wonderful dining experience. It was so good I had to leave a review! (We also had the tomato salad which was wonderful)“

“I tried the pasta with meat and it was really good! The meal came with some toasted bread which was also a great addition. There was a large menu selection and the online version had some pictures.
There is free parking, but the spaces can be a bit narrow. I could see parking being tough if it gets crowded. Thankfully it wasn't very busy around lunch on a Sunday.
The restaurant itself is very spacious and has a lot of seating area. Service was friendly and quick!
I would definitely come back to try something different!“

“Best Ethiopian food in Atlanta! I’ve tried other restaurants and the dishes from Abol are consistently better (both in portion size and taste). My personal favorites are the Shiro and veggie platter. They accommodate vegan restrictions, too ♥️“

“Great food. Should add Ethiopian beverages and dim lights.“
“Delicious. I got the veggie plate, which was 11.95 for 4 side veggies and a piece of corn (pancake?). The cabbage, green beans and collared greens were cooked well and flavorful. All different textures to compliment the veggies. The mac and cheese was baked and comforting.
Tough for me was that everything was boxed in Styrofoam, including their drinks. They helped refill my water bottle, but only if they handed me a Styrofoam cup. Technically, these are better choices than the polypropylene black boxes other vendors are using since neither can be recycled.“
