Got the yellow cake with chocolate icing from jjs and it was horrible. Normally I can force myself to eat cake but I couldn't make it past 2 bites . The icing is terrible and the cake is tasteless. Very disappointed this evening

I purchased the caramel cake from JJ fish and it's the worst cake I ever tasted! It has a thick cornbread texture and the caramel icing is more like a syrup that is overly sweet. This cake is definitely going in the trash!

Taste like a sugar cube. Just not good cake. Literally while 99% of places have cream cheese icing they have loaded sugar cakes. Way too sweet and dry.

I bought a piece of red velvet from the new jjs in Greenbriar and it was terrible. It says silky red velvet. When it should say warning may cause choking. The cake was thick and dry no moisture what so ever. Cake wasn't blended well. Everyone knows red velvet is really chocolate cake that's been dyed red. You still taste the chocolate and it had a weird after taste im guessing from the dye. But anyway the cake was beyond nasty and I won't ever buy anything with your company label on it again. First time buying and the last

Their pound cakes are very homemade and delicious! The Lemon Pound and Red Velvet are the best! Not a fan of their carrot cake. Needs to be slightly sweeter. More on a very dry side instead of moist.

What ever you do. Do not buy the key lime cake from J J fish . This cake did not tast like key lime cake the icing was wrong it didn't have the lime taste but it was moist that's the only good thing. I'll just order the fish next time.
I purchased the Strawberry Delight cake from JJ Fish and Chicken on Evans Mill. Why is a "bake shop" selling this boxed cake? It was horrible! Very dry, diabetic sweet, and not a bit of strawberry. Just horrible!

Red velvet cake is only good with CREAM CHEESE frosting. Not vanilla. Finally decided to buy a piece of cake from JJ’s. Not only does it have vanilla frosting on it but the cake itself is DRY.

I worked at the bake shop and let’s say it was a Hell Naw for me… Boxed mixed with old caked up pans and had the nerve to complain about what I wore because it was hot in the kitchen.. I am talking good 98 in there..

I have never personally been to E’vans Bake Shop,but I have tasted her cakes multiple times from JJs Fish. I have always wondered who was the amazing person making these delicious cakes and now I know. I can honestly say I’ve never tasted an E’vans cake that didn’t taste amazing!
