Their burgers are unmatched. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I’ve tried plenty around the city, and truly, no one else compares.

The pastries are just as impressive. They serve fresh, warm canelés straight from the oven, with that perfect contrast between crispy shell and custardy center. The gâteau basque is always buttery, rich, and consistently delicious.

The service is another standout. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable without ever feeling over the top.

Evergreen is a place where you can tell the team cares about the food, the craft, and the people they serve. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out.

My daughter, our driver and I were met by a racist employee in parking lot asking if we needed help before we entered the establishment . We went inside and waited for a cashier to take our order. It took 6 mins and when asked if a personal greeting outside was normal were told no. The cashier then took us to a register and before I even checked out said have a nice day. I regret the fact I spent money to get us there , that she was treated that way and that the establishment doesn't understand that people of deserve to be treated with respect

One of the best bakeries in Atlanta. Sandwiches to go + coffee. Have not tried the butchery.

Wish every business could be as spot on with quality like Evergreen is. Love going here!

The line stays out the door on the weekends, and for good reason. Evergreen’s pastries are on point. I tried 5 different pastries and would recommend every single one. They had 3 different pumpkin pastries (during the fall) for the basic bishes (I got all three). Their meat pies are stuffed. Want vegetables? Go elsewhere; here, it is about bread, meat, and sweets. They have vegetarian options, but it’s a butcher shop, so set expectations accordingly. The prices are totes worth it.

There is no seating indoors or outdoors, but Evergreen is located in the Kirkwood retail area, so grab a pastry and go for a lil walk. The area is cute and safe. Dress is casual, or however you want to look walking around.

There is easily accessible free street parking, and there is also unofficial stroller parking in front of the shop. There were 3 strollers lined up out front. One mother jokingly asked her baby if she wanted to stay outside in the stroller while she went into Evergreen. Guess she feels super safe in the area or is over the kid. Who knows?

Got a ham and cheese croissant and it was divine. The layers of flakiness and the perfectly crusted cheese made this one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in years

Such a gem. Unmatched quality of meats and a vast, delicious range of sweet and savory breads and pastries. Selection varies based on the season, what’s available, and what appears to be a commitment to using the whole animal. I saw a beef heart pastrami on the cold cuts shelf last weekend. Lines can be long. If you come between noon and 1 pm on sundays, know that customers queue up early to snag a coveted burger. You can just ask politely if they are in line for burgers or not, then go in for other items if needed. If it’s your first time, just ask folks what’s happening. Everyone is friendly, so don’t let the popularity overwhelm you :) Enjoy!

Parking: Three or 4 spots in front of Arden’s. Otherwise street parking in surrounding neighborhood

This place serves some of the best burgers in town. You’d have to wait in line but it’s definitely worth the wait. Make sure you also try their pastries.
