Recently, I visited Fant'asai, nestled within the PH'East store, with a curious palate and high hopes for a unique culinary experience. The restaurant, which seemed promising, offered an intriguing mix of dishes.Upon arrival, I noticed the ambiance was casual and inviting, setting a good stage for a culinary adventure. However, the service left something to be desired. The attendant appeared somewhat detached and not fully acquainted with the menu, which dampened the initial excitement. Despite this, the wait for our food was pleasantly brief, a redeeming factor in the service experience. Our meal consisted of Puerto Rican fried rice and Mongolian chicken. The Mongolian chicken was the star of the evening - flavorful, well-seasoned, and simply delicious. It was a dish I would happily recommend. On the other hand, the Puerto Rican fried rice, while enjoyable, didn't quite hit the mark in terms of authenticity. It was good but fell short of capturing the essence of true Puerto Rican fried rice.Portion sizes were generally adequate, though the serving of Mongolian chicken seemed a bit scant, leaving me wanting just a bit more. Despite these mixed feelings, the culinary journey at Fant'asai was overall a positive one. The menu still piques my interest, and I remain eager to explore other dishes in the future. In conclusion, Fant'asai offers a mixed bag - a promising venue with potential for a fantastic dining experience, slightly marred by service inconsistencies and portions. However, the quality of the dishes, particularly the Mongolian chicken, ensures I'll be back to try more of what they have to offer. Hopefully, future visits will see improvements that elevate the entire dining experience to match the quality of their best dishes.

I don't usually leave a review because I generally eat my food and enjoy my day. However, the food, service and attitude compelled me to leave a review.I ordered the pepper steak and there was more onions and bell peppers than steak. I asked the cashier if there was a mistake or If I ordered the wrong size and he almost didn't even acknowledge me. It felt like I was bothering him.And If I am not mistaken it is standard practice for food service workers to remove piercing and jewelry. I guess the cashier didn't get the memo because I honestly thought his multiple face and lip piercing were going to fall into my food. The food is overpriced, the servings are small and deceptive, and when you make a general inquiry for an issue with your food you will be met with disdain, disinterest and opposition to help rectify the situation.I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT.

Poor attitude and service , not sure if they want you ordering their food.Food is ok if you don’t think about it. 3/5White rice was old, dry, and yellow. Popcorn chicken was not good.Overpriced, but everything in the PHEAST food court is.

Extraordinary experience!!! We had a blast, and a savory explosion of deliciousness in our mouths with every outstanding dish we tried. Owner Muling Zhao went above and beyond and treated us like family! Her friendliness, attentive attitude, and detailed service made our day. We HIGHLY recommend the Sweet & Sour Chicken, Mandarin Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Green Beens, and the NEW CHINESE-PUERTORRICAN FRIED RICE!!! A MUST HAVE, and FanT’Asia is the ONLY place that you can get it in Atlanta… AMAZING!!!Parking: Free parking garage the first 3 hours.Kid-friendliness: Fun and laid back atmosphere.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level and very accesible.

The portion size a rice is a kids meal and the crab Rangoon is solely cream cheese with a dash of imitation crab. Oh and I did not receive any sweet chili for the Rangoon, just two small packets of chili sauce. The sauce for the shrimp and broccoli has too much sesame oil you can taste it.

The service was wonderful but the food was simply not good. No flavor at all. If you know good Asian food, you won't like this. Stick to basic things they drop in the deep fryer.

Orange chicken was bland, gross and expensive. Fried rice had nearly no vegetables and tasted lower quality than Panda Express. It's kind of a stop in thing so service is not so important. Nice cafeteria.

We ordered the vegetable lo mein. It was tasty and surpassingly not too greasy. Sometimes, lo mein is too heavy and greasy but this one was not. This place did a great job with balancing flavors with authenticity. This place is one of the food stalls at the Ph'East Food Hall in the Battery. The food was made quickly and it was freshly made. The Food Hall is a great place for a chill lunch with the family.

I order the orange chicken for about $20 and it was all breading and sauce, there was barely any chicken. The broccoli was cold. The rice tasteless. Worst meal I’ve had in the battery.

We were in the mood for Chinese so we figured we’d give this place a try. The food was below average and the service was even below that. We definitely won’t be coming back.

For $20 a dish you get less than half a plate. Don't eat here.

I personally did not order from here, but I did eat off of what my boyfriend got. When he asked the employee at the register, she did recommend more of the appetizers than the main dishes. He had the Taiwanese Chicken Nuggets and the Pork Bao Buns. I ate a bit of each. The nuggets are tasty, but did have a lot of seasoning on top. I liked the bell peppers in it though. The Pork Bao Buns were my favorite and I would go back for them. I am traveling to Atlanta from elsewhere, and this is the only a spot I've been to where there is genuine Bao buns. The buns themselves were well done, the dough was the perfect consistency, and there was a good ratio of dough to filling. I would probably order again from this location for the appetizers, and because the employee at the register gave well done customer service.
