While visiting Atlanta for my birthday a family member took me to Fatt Matt's and I tell you the food was was delicious. The ribs fell off the bone; the greens and macaroni & cheese was fabulous. The potato salad was Ok. My bill was $35.00 dollars and it was worth every cent. They also had a live band and they were pretty good!! All in all I suggest you go here, you will not be disappointed!!

their menu was very small. The sides weren’t that good the ribs were like a weird texture with a lot of bones. They gave me one random rib that looks half eaten on the side. I sat outside because it was kind of small inside and there was a swarm of flies around me trying to eat my food. I had to donate some of my bread because it was so many flies like more than a dozen

A bunch of excellent people run this place. I cleaned up Pelham Road Park earlier for the ATL Urban Cleanup mission in which we just started. Two kind ladies allowed me to use their dumpster for the initiative. After I tried to pay for a drink and they let me get one without pay even when I tried to buy. Best Pepsi I've had.

I lived in GA ten years ago and was in town passing through and I had to stop at my favorite bbq place Fat Matt's.. food here is Everything and Always on point.. taste like the first time....you won't be disappointed I promise.. there's live music starting at 7pm..

I'll start out by saying that this is a hole-in-the-wall.... Which is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Order at the counter, they bring it to your table. Live music by a guy who knows his way around a guitar. It's a true southern bbq rib joint. I loved it.... Sweetwater Lager was a perfect complement.
