I will never recommend this place ..no wonder they had a score of 86 ?? the bathroom had piss all over the floor & disrespectful writing all over the bathroom walls...it stinks in there ..was I experienced that, I didn't even try to stay and eat there... just plain filthy nasty ???

I've been to Flat Iron before and had a fine experience, but my recent visit left a lot to be desired. My wife and I arrived at 12:05 PM, shortly after the restaurant opened at 12:00 PM. However, instead of being greeted with a "hello" or "welcome," we were met with a barrage of comments stating that they weren't open yet. I pointed out that it was, in fact, after 12:00, and their door was open. The lead employee noticed the time, offered a passive apology, but the energy was noticeably different from the initial response we received when we walked in.

From what I can remember the food was decent... Nothing rave about but also I was willing to come back... All in all of you would like a side of rudeness and asshole with your food definitely come here!!!!

While most of the staff did apologize, one employee did not. When I expressed that I was still waiting for an apology from that particular staff member, it never came. Instead, I overheard them mumble under their breath, which I also called out. The atmosphere was clearly off from that point, and it made me uncomfortable.

It's unfortunate because I've previously enjoyed dining here, but this experience made me question whether I should continue supporting a place where I didn't feel valued as a customer. While my money alone won't make or break this business, it would bother me to keep giving it to an establishment that doesn't seem to appreciate its patrons. Additionally, I didn't feel confident about the care and energy going into the food they were preparing after such an interaction.

My kinda joint,.. Architecture, Ale, Attitude. Sweet Tea Marinaded Thighs brunch special. True southern fried chicken!

Wheelchair accessibility: Roll down ramp right through door to go inside....also great patio . narrow but doable.

Blonde bartender upstairs immediately refused service to my fiancé and told him it was over an outstanding $14 balance from the previous Tuesday when he hadn't been there in weeks. Was told to leave before even getting an explanation on why he was told to leave, showed no proof, wouldn't take payment from several people trying to take care of the tab while she held my card and refused to let down her fight. Clearly this seems to be an ongoing issue with the same bartender after talking to several friends who are frequent customers.

Blonde hair lady was very rude to my friend and it wasn’t even his fault, she had us kicked out after being the one to start an issue. don’t give this bar your money

Bartender I had was a bit unpleasant to deal with. She had a very dismissive attitude. She stood in the way of the menu that was written on the wall while I’m clearly breaking my neck trying to see around her. My friend asked her if the ghost pepper marg was really spicy and she says, “I mean it taste like ghost pepper” with a little eye roll. The marg didn’t taste like ghost pepper. Spice level was a 0 on a scale of 10. My blueberry marg was all Blueberry juice. We didn’t get food. I’ll pass on Flatiron from now on.

The other bartenders seemed cool but unfortunately I was stuck with the visibly unhappy one. She really brought the energy down.

Five out of five from me. I can't say enough good things about the food. My party and I weren't disappointed with anything. It's unique bar with great service and vibes.

From Morgan to G-mo. No matter how far between visits, I always feel at home. Make Thomas get you the blackened Chicken Philly. It's amazing.
