My family and I had an awesome lunch at Flips. The burger sliders were nice and juicy, chicken tenders, fresh cut fries and the onion rings were great. The oreo milkshake and the strawberry shortcake milkshake were nice and creamy, sooo delicious! We’ll definitely be back!

Overall, a great first time visit. I will return and highly recommend. Matthew and the other employees customer service was top notch. The food & drinks were really good and they have a good amount of choices to choose from.My only complaints is that we asked the chicken and waffles to be served on a different plate and they did as asked, but brought the chicken out a few minutes after the waffle and we had to ask for syrup and by the time we received it the food was cold. Also, the ambience is just blah.. nothing special and could use some updates. If you haven’t already been, GO. If you have been go back! The customer service is EVERYTHING!!

Order the chicken sandwich with trap sauce and also the six piece wings with trap sauce and lemon pepper wings. My food was so good best chicken I had by far in a long time. It like chick fil a zaxby's and your mom chicken sandwich had a baby. Next time I'll ask for extra sauce on my wings. The gentlemen that took my order and gave me my food was very nice as well

What a great restaurant. Service was kind with authenticity and all around beautiful smiling staff. Food was delicious and came out fast. Environment is adorable. Also the plant based burger - my hubby said it’s the most real tasting and texture plant burger he has ever had!!!Highly recommend.

Service not as good as it used to be years before. Ordered appetizer fried green tomatoes they looked like donuts not prepared well at all. With that we asked the server to return them (untouched)and get something else but she informed us she would however it would still be a charge. NOT how a reastaurant is ran very disappointing go somewhere else.

I usually have a pleasant experience. I’ll start there. Today my service for my order was pretty good. Went in around 2:15 for the lunch special. Then, while eating, a lady is YELLING near the bar, but closer to back where employees go. I am assuming she is a manager. Strong African accent. She was talking to someone. It went on for at least six minutes. Everyone at the bar was looking over, and she didn’t stop. She then came towards the area where the food came out and sat down, then began fussing again. I cut my visit short and finished everything as quickly as possible. Like I said usually a pretty good experience, but that was too much. Go to the office to discuss matters. Come on, people.

We went to flip burger in graduate school when the restaurant first started. While this place tries to replicate that feel, ultimately it comes off as a slightly more upscale Red Robin. The flavors and the menu was not what I remembered and not as good. Overall I rate this experience as OK. Our service was good but our waitress had an excessive amount of perfume on which destroyed what flavor was there.50 dollars for 2 people... save your money and go to Red Robin.

Full disclosure, we were headed to another burger restaurant for a friend's birthday when we found out they were closed. Happened upon Flip and decided to try it. First of all, they are incredibly accommodating about the menu (making things without bacon as well as providing gluten free alternatives). The BBQ burger, brisket totchos and sweet potato fries were amazing. The pimento burger and the cod were also very good. Only quirk, the brussel sprouts were a little too charred and garlicky and one burger patty was a bit tough.

Great spot and good folks. We got the lamb burger and a beer.

Love this restaurant. You can tell the food is prepared with high-quality ingredients. My burgers have been cooked perfectly every time, and can be topped with things like homemade pimento cheese, honey bacon slaw, and/or fried green tomatoes. All the sides I’ve had were good, including the fries (fried in beef fat) and the sweet potato tots (paired with a side of toasted marshmallow fluff). They also sell alcoholic milkshakes, if you’re into that sort of thing. A little pricey, but the daily specials and the taste of the burgers make up for it.

I visited this establishment when it first opened years ago. I sat at the bar had good food and great service. However, my visit tonight was horrible. First, we were seated and I noticed there were only 2 other tables occupied. The 2 servers on the floor chatted amongst each other and never approached our table after about 10 minutes of us waiting. Another party of 7 came in, they were seated and taken care of immediately. With this being said, I went to the host stand and asked did we have a server, she answered “yes” and said she’ll be over shortly. Another 3-5 minutes passed as I watched the servers argue about who was going to serve my daughter and myself. Eventually a young lady came over and asked do we need more time or were we ready to order? My response was “we had been sitting there for quite some time, so of course we didn’t need more time.” Additionally, I told her the other table sat down and was immediately taken care of which was totally unacceptable. The sever went on to say “she’s been serving for 20 years and on and on ……. and she wasn’t about to put up with us… and walked away! At this point I asked was there a manager on duty and was told by the hostess that she was the manager on duty and assist us. From there we got descent service, the food was decent, but we will not return nor would I recommend this establishment, because the CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE……

Took my gal friend here, it was her first time exploring Atlanta and I immediately was like we gotta go to FLIP Burger! We both loved it! Definitely great food and atmosphere.

I admit my family had not visited this restaurant in quite a well, but when we did it was frequently, and it was one of our favorites. I wasn’t surprised to see that the restaurant was under new management because that’s common. However, I was not expecting to have to return a simple Margarita, wings, and the empanadas, which were not cooked. By the time our entrees came out the manager came over and we told her our highly disappointed we were. She kept stressing that they will not comp us the entire meal, and I told her I don’t care; just tell us what we owe so I can pay and take my family somewhere else to eat. It’s my fault for not listening to my daughter. She simply said, “Dad, our first sign was it was 6:00 PM in Atlanta and we walked in with only 5 guests sitting”. This is not the restaurant that foodie such as myself used to love. I was so upset about my experience that I made this the first review that I’ve ever written.

We were really excited to try this place. Just fell flat on expectations. Bar was out of most beers and wine, service was slow, food was mediocre at best. Had a chicken grain bowl and there were no grains in it. Milkshakes with liquid nitrogen… nope, out of nitrogen. Richard Blais would not be happy with this.

Good boozy shakes.
