The burger is exquisite, the garlic and ranch fries are enough for two people and very delicious. The place, being inside a market, is very clean and has a very good atmosphere. It is very nice, in addition to being able to walk around the entire place. I recommend it 100%. I loved .

Very good burger and fries, I tried a bite of the chicken Philly and Korean philly, also very good. I decided to check them out since they have a Michelin nod and it was well worth it! The atmosphere is 4 stars since the restaurant is jam packed in a busy building with a bunch of other restaurants.Parking: The first hour of parking is free then you have to pay.

The Korean Philly cheesesteak is delicious!! The sauce on it made the dish. Service was great. They had a line but it went quickly. And I love the ambiance at Krog!

I was told by many people that the Korean Cheesesteak from Fred's is a must try in the Atlanta area and once I read the description of this sandwich I knew there wasn't anyway I could skip this. It's got gochujang sauce, american cheese, candied jalapeños, green onion, garlic aioli. The flavor and spice from the fermented chili paste really comes through and the little crispy sweet bites from the candied jalapeños was a great touch. I did think the sandwich as a whole was fine but what actually impressed me was the fries. Similarly to the sandwich, there was also a spicy and sweet component going on with the Old Bay seasoned fries and they do not skimp out on the amount given.

So, Fred's Meat & Bread was featured by the Michelin Star folks. I already had them on my list to try, but after that, I had to give them a go.When I walked up to the counter, I saw signs hyping up their double stack burger. "#1 burger in Atlanta!" and even a food critic claiming the burger was so good that it "made him feel more American."Was the burger good? Yeah. Mind blowing or some sort of spiritual experience? Not so much. The fries were also pretty solid. Really well seasoned. Overall though, I'm not sure I got the hype.I'd go back and try some other stuff, though.

I’m glad the food was good. I really wanted to give them 5 stars for the food and atmosphere, but the cashier was so dry with zero personality. She looked like she would have rather been anywhere else but there. Since this was the first person I met, that brought the experience down for me and made it so it wasn’t enjoyable. More than likely wouldn’t return here.

$15.50 for Korean Cheese steak sandwich. Ribeye steak was very tender. The cheese overwhelmed the beef flavors though. Could use some more of the Korean chili sauce. Bread held up well and didn't get soggy. I ate the sandwich in one sitting. The orders came out fast and it looks like they run a tight ship.

The food is always flawless but the service was not very good today. We have been to this spot so many times so I expect a line and a wait. Today we were second in line when they opened and ordered our food. We waited and watched as they completed tons of online and Grubhub orders. After waiting 30 minutes and others in line got their orders far earlier we asked the worker if they had an order for us. He said that they have to complete online and Grubhub first so we needed to be patient. So we waited and finally got our order after asking. Saying “thank you for being patient” would have gone a long way.

Fred's Meat & Bread has been on my list for well over a year now and I'm sorry it took me this long because it was worth the hype. I came with my husband so we didn't have to park he just dropped me at the door and circled until I came out. Parking at krog is not always joyous, but I promise you this sandwich is worth it. I placed my order online and the projected time I think was 35 minutes. I arrived in 20 and it was already ready. We got the garlic fries served with ranch. The fries were huge and fried well, but they lacked salt for us. The ranch was so overpowered with dill I didn't enjoy it whatsoever. I probably wouldn't get the fries again, or if I did maybe I'd get a different sauce and ask for extra salt? The cheesesteak alone gets 5 stars for me. We both got the shroom cheesesteak ($15.75) and it was a great size. I had enough for later I only ate half. The meat was seasoned so well and it was nice and saucy. The bread was chewy and delicious. It was the best cheesesteak we have gotten in ATL and it is one of our favorite sandwiches so I'm so glad we found one we loved. I really want to try the cheeseburger from there and will probably get one next time. I wish it were closer because I'd love another one right now. I am looking forward to going back and trying more things from the menu!

The cheesesteaks were really good! I got the korean bbq one and the flavors came together extremely well, would return again.
