Airport food always sucks for vegans. At least until Slutty Vegan opens in the Atlanta Airport. The bowl was okay, the falafel was decent, the veggies good, I liked the dressing, the rice was dry and not very good. That said for $15 in an airport it was a lot of food and it was pretty good overall. I saw some negative comments about the staff. I thought the were overly friendly and helpful. If not in airport I would try somewhere else, but captive audience. Updated from previous review on 2024-12-20

The falafel plate was so good. She loaded it up with goodies and fried the falafel fresh, which is rare and much appreciated. It takes a few minutes but it’s soooo worth it. The employee wasn’t super fast but she was friendly and I appreciated how she was trying to make it good rather than just doing the bare minimum. Super solid and fairly healthy fast food option at D.

Don’t go here. Just wait until you find a decent Mediterranean place. They were out of a lot of things and the flavor and quality of food was subpar compared to basic chain places I’ve been to. Wish I could get my money and time back.

Average airport food. The location to sit and eat in the food court was relaxing and productive to do a little bit of email work.

Had a falafel plate, and they were fried fresh, so it was crispy and delicious. Paired it with the veggies, and rice and feta cheese was a great combo. They were out of sauces but meh didn’t matter. Will definitely come back here again for a fulfilling meal at the atl airport.

After standing in line for over 20 min, I ordered a falafel bowl and was told all the falafels were frozen so there weren't any available. It was 230 pm. Still lunch time. And no alternative vegetarian proteins were offered. Really disappointing as there are few vegan or vegetarian opinions at ATL and I wasted all my layover time in line. I've been to this restaurant before and they make a decent fresh vegan and gluten-free falafel rice bowl, so I was hoping this could be my go-to option, but it's not as reliable as it should be. First, I want to start off by saying this… this is my second time trying out Greek food from the same place. Food was delicious both times within 2 weeks. My only problem is the employee serving my food, Jake. almost feel like there was some sort of racism towards me. Not sure if he didn’t like black people eating foods from his culture or what? First time and second time I had negative experiences from that one employee! First time and second he told me I have a limit on what I can order because they’re about to run out plus he had a negative attitude towards me. This time, there were more customers in the long line. The manager wasn’t helping him with the long line and Jake was just the only team member fixing food. I’ve seen how he treated other customers before in the line. As he gets closer to serving me, I was getting nervous about getting treated differently. This time it was worst. When I ordered a bowl, I was pointing out the things what I wanted and he was standing on the other side of the counter, telling me what I’m going to get in my bowl and won’t let me order what I want to order. His body language and the was he was talking to me so bad, especially infront the manager… I was offended and EMBARRASSED about his energy towards me infront of other customers. I’m never going to be comfortable ordering from that place in concourse D. If I see him at that counter, I will pass unless I get another crewmember, like myself (outside of my race) go there and get it for me instead of showing my face at that counter. I don’t recommend other black crewmembers going there, because I know for sure they will experience the same as me. As much as I would love to eat from that place, I will have to pass it every time.

During my long layover for my connecting flight, I googled what the vegan food options were at the airport and which concourse had the best option. I love Middle Eastern food and decided to check out Garbanzo Mediterranean . I selected a falafel pita with hummus, veggies and rice. It was quite filling and tasty. Though expensive at $12, but happy to have found something delicious and satisfying. Located at Concourse C.
Falafel was fried to order. There’s tons of lettuce, cucumber tomato salad, and cooked zucchini and squash under here. Delicious and a lot of food for the money, especially at an airport! Friendly customer service.

This food is SO GOOD. My friend and I each got stuffed pitas (one with falafel, one with gyro meat) here a couple of days ago, and we're still talking about them! I lived in Israel on a study abroad and this falafel pita was one of the best I've had since coming back to the States. I'm so glad I found this place and only wish we had it in my home state! The service was quick and friendly. Would ABSOLUTELY recommend this place. ??
