Could possibly be one of the worst food court “hibachi’s” i’ve ever had…. Rice tasted like microwaved day before rice, chicken was ridiculously sweet, broccoli was undercooked and hard, had frozen peas and carrots, and 2 pieces of zucchini. All this for $16? Insane.

Hibachis rice and meat are drenched in sauce. The shrimp is very fishy. Ramen noodle and egg were overcooked. Pork was good. I spent $40 for myself and my friend. The Bubble Tea was good.

The taste of the teppanyaki is really great. Especially after adding the delicious sauce, it's extremely tasty. The portion is very generous and it's really a good deal. One person can hardly finish it. The service is excellent. They greet you warmly every time you pass by.

I ordered a steak + veggie hibachi bowl, and I was entirely pleased with the taste, serving size, and expedient service. Ive had hibachi from 4 places in total, including Benihana’s, and this was easily the best I had. The steak was perfectly seared and and glazed; the vegetables weren’t overcooked, and the rice, well, its just white rice- nothing out of the ordinary.
I saw that others were disappointed with the ramen. Well I don’t eat ramen, so that didn’t deter me. If you decide to eat at Gekko, i would definitely recommend ordering a hibachi bowl.

I love ramen. I have been to many Pho and ramen restaurants. I wanted to go here because of the atmosphere in Politan Row. But I would not recommend ramen from here. I was very disappointed that it taste like packaged ramen.

For $23.75 I had the following experience.

Food was not seasoned.
Shrimp Hibachi bowl purchased on 3.29.25. Something in it has given me diarrhea for the last 2 days that I can't eat anything else.

Service was ok. The kitchen staff tried to bark at me about where to go to order as I stood in front of my already purchased food and I was just asking for a plastic fork (to go)... nothing to do with ordering. Language barrier...she didn't get what I was saying and kept barking. The guy handing out food finally turned around and helped.

Atmosphere is cool, eclectic, different...good music.

Watered down broth makes for tasteless ramen and that’s what it was.

Cashier on his phone and is extremely rude. He is literally single handed ruining your business. I wanted to order wings and asked if I could mix flavors…. The rudeness and lack of hospitality is insane. I don’t typically leave reviews but the owner of this stall needs to know how impactful this negative interaction was…..

I got Chicken Ramen to share with my 6 year old. Service was fine. Food was mid at best. The miso tasted like some generic broth I buy from Whole Foods. The broth was sweet to taste. No salty or umami taste like with miso. The egg was a regular smegular hard boiled egg No seasoning like the traditional ajitsuke tamago. Chicken had not seasoned taste 😐😐😐 Paid $20!

Please save your money and eat elsewhere. I Ordered a Bao Bun; it came on what looked like naan bread with lettuce and a sauce. Pure disappointment!

Broth has no flavor, egg was just regular boiled egg, I’ve had flavor more flavor in my maruchan ramen

Anyone who positive reviews must be a bot, this ramen utilizes the cheapest ingredients possible. Meat was dry, noodles were lower quality than packaged ramen. Bottled drinks were 5 dollars and not advertised as such.

I was excited to get Ramen because I love it so much. When we went to purchase it, the service was extremely poor. I went for it anyway because again I was excited for Ramen. Upon receiving the food, it did not appear to be vegan at all. The vegetables tasted off and the broth was clearly not vegan. When I went to take it back, I got a “ head nod” and no acknowledgment. This is why they have this review!

Went there to grab some food today, The place was not open even though there''s a sign that says "we'll be back at 3:00pm" it was still closed at 3:15 no one was there.

Had a phenomenal chicken hibachi here. Politan Row is a fantastic location for attending the symphony. Atmosphere is a nice calm party atmosphere. Really great place.

The food at Gekko, from.my experience, was phenomenal. The chicken hibachi was perfect. Large portions. Fresh and flavorful without the greasy aftertaste. Highly recommend.
