George's Bar & Restaurant

Did you know George’s offers fried cheese curds? They’re solid. And rare, because you didn’t have to go to Minnesota to get them.

Me and my bestfriend visited 7.16.24. What a horrible experience. We arrived at 8 pm and sat at the bar. We waited until 9:20pm. to be acknowledged, and I had to get the bartenders attention then. JP (assuming the bar manager bc people tensed up when he was around) literally looked past us over and over, servicing those around us who were not black. Guess our money wasn't the right color. He serviced all others (non black) after we arrived. Never making eye contact with us but did so to other patriots beside and behind us standing. I will never patronize this restaurant again. A blonde lady sat beside us, and he immediately acknowledged her, wiped her area down, and took her order at the bar. Another Caucasian sat beside us and had 3 red wine refills, and we were still not acknowledged by Jp. It's almost like he was told not to service the 2 black girls at the bar. I have provided pictures. JP only acknowledged us (With a head nod as if this how nigxxx communicate) when the bar was about to close at 10. If I had to guess, it was because he wanted to confirm we were charged for the drinks that Daniel oh so kindly provided us after an hour and a half. Thank you, Daniel. They don't deserve YOU!! JP is the bald guy in the pics. If your BLACK do not patronize this restaurant! The crazy part is that those of color were the waiters and waitresses at this racist establishment. Pics on Yelp.

I dont know how a 1 star rating came up from me but imma correct that right now. I LOVE GEORGE'S! LOVE THE FOOD! STAFF AND OWNER ARE THE BEST! AND JUST A REALLY COOL BAR WITH GREAT FOOD! I VISIT THERE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK TO MEET FRIENDS AND SOMETIMES JUST GO THERE ON THE WAY HOME FROM WORK...TRY GEORGE'S OUT. YOU'LL LOVE IT TOO!
