The two bartenders there treated us like royalty; a white chick and a gay black dude. Gay black dude deserves a 300% raise. He poured us some drinks that would make Frank Sinatra pucker up. Came from behind the bar to wait on our booth on multiple occasions. Offered us every amenity and went above and beyond in every aspect. My last drink order was poured with the heaviest hand I could ever ask for. 12/10 I will 100% be back strictly due to the customer service. Didn’t order food so I’m not ranking that. But if you want good drinks late night, this is where it’s at.

Short staffed but all these ladies out front delt so well with the full establishment. Behind the bar was two ladies making it happen. I saw food come out with no delay and everyone as patrons very happy with the service in this full bar

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Gibney’s Pub is an absolute gem in Atlanta and easily one of the best spots to hang out, catch a game, or just enjoy a night out with friends, a date, or even solo. The moment you walk in, you immediately feel the welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The staff genuinely make you feel at home, like you’re part of a big, happy family. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy yourself, and feel appreciated as a guest.
Now, let me talk about the customer service because it’s truly next-level. Our waitress, Megan, is an absolute superstar. From the very first time we visited, she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She remembered exactly who we were on our second visit, knew our preferences, and consistently provided service that made us feel truly valued. Megan isn’t just friendly—she’s intuitive, attentive, and genuinely cares about her guests’ experience. She makes every visit feel personalized, welcoming, and special. Honestly, Megan alone makes Gibney’s Pub a must-visit spot in Atlanta.
Beyond the incredible service, the food at Gibney’s Pub is fantastic. Every dish we’ve had has been flavorful, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Whether you’re grabbing something quick while watching a game or settling in for a relaxed dinner, the menu hits all the right notes. Combine that with the friendly staff, inviting ambiance, and a place that feels vibrant without being overwhelming, and you have the perfect hangout spot.
The pub also excels as a spot for dates, casual nights out with friends, or even catching sports in a lively environment. It truly has something for everyone. The atmosphere is fun and energetic, yet still cozy and intimate enough to feel comfortable and relaxed.
Overall, Gibney’s Pub has everything you could ask for in a local hotspot: great food, a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and world-class customer service with Megan leading the way. It’s rare to find a place that makes you feel so genuinely appreciated, and that’s exactly what keeps us coming back. Whether you’re in Atlanta or just passing through, don’t miss out—this place is a highlight of the city, and we can’t recommend it enough.

Excellent location, public parking just across the street. Good food and a nice pint. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. When I’m in Atlanta it’s a definite stop.

What an absolute joke of a place... I went with a few friends while in town for dragon con and they gave me someone else's bill from hours before I was even there. Bartenders overcharged me, wouldn't serve us once their friends came in, and gave out hella shit to them for free... They could have tried to make it right with us with a free round if they were just slinging it for free. Then they started complaining about their tips... My friend used his card here and only here in Atlanta, and the card number was stolen... This might be the shadiest bar I saw while in Atlanta and the shadiest bar I've ever seen. I asked to speak to the manager and the bartender told me he was the manager and there was nothing he could do. Complete circus.

This was my first time visiting from out of town and had the best experience! Eddy was our bartender and he was extremely kind, very knowledgeable, and efficient with a busy Friday night bar. Great drinks and great late night bites. The music was a phenomenal mix of early 2000’s and the vibes were perfect. Highly recommend if you’re in downtown Atlanta looking for a great time!

Will absolutely never eat here again. The service was the worst I've had in years. The server would disappear for 20 minutes at a time. The cheese curds were so overcooked that the cheese had all burst out of the breading and fried to a crunchy/burnt crisp and what was left was just overly crunchy batter. The bread on the patty melt was also so overly toasted it was like a crouton. Overall, the food and service totally missed the mark. As an out of town visitor, I expected better from a downtown pub and was utterly disappointed.
