I arrived around 8:00 pm. The bartender placed a menu on the counter without a greeting. He then approached and simply asked, "What can I get you to drink?" While I appreciated not having to wait, a friendly hello would have been nice. Despite the initial coldness, I decided to explore the menu and opted for the "Tears in the Rain" cocktail. Unfortunately, it seemed the bartender forgot to double strain it. Regardless, the drink itself was delicious, offering a refreshing tropical flavor. For food, I ordered the beef appetizer. To my surprise, it came in a stew-like presentation, which wasn't what I expected. However, the papaya salad was a definite hit. It was flavorful and had a delightful crunch from the vegetables.

I went to a private event hosted here tonight, there was only one male service working who seemed to be in charge, I mention him because as I was only here for a brief time short of an hour and a half, I noticed his bad energy. No real sense of hospitality or service as he abruptly yells to the DJ to “cut the music”. We’re not in a club. It’s a restaurant. As we’re leaving I say thank you for having us it was a pleasure, as did others in the group. He stayed silent and acted as though no one said anything. Very uncomfortable and unfortunate. I’m not sure if it was because it was a bigger event of about 20 people or because the 20 people were of color. Either way. I hope the energy and attitudes can be remedied since it made the entire group uncomfortable. It was also my first time ever visiting.

Took my mother there for her 85th birthday after a long flight home. It was a bit loud but the food and ambiance was lovely. There were 2 shrimp rolls on the menu but apparently to the second ones are vegetable. I do suggest the real shrimp ones. The fish (both the snapper and the mahi) were great. And the mussel appetizer was a lot. And of course their desserts were fabulous. Will not be my last time

if I could give them no stars I would! This place was horrible! I went here for my birthday on 3/16/24 for seafood and they ruined my birthday dinner! I couldn't have the seafood because they cook it WITH the sausage and I don't eat pork. The food was gross the server was lazy he barley acknowledged my birthday and I was definitely wearing a sash that said its my birthday even if I didn't say it, it was obvious! we were a party of 6, everyone one had something different and it was all gross. My friend lobster was way over cooked and bland and so was his shrimp. don't waste your money. we went to JR crickets after we left!

We dressed down on a Sunday night but this is easily a dress up date spot! The place is beautiful and intimate. It has a nice dining room and then a covered patio. Service was prompt, friendly, and helpful. They have a fantastic bar if you just want some craft cocktails and some apps. All the cocktails looked fantastic. My bourbon cocktail (can't remember the name) was delicious. So delicious I had two... The food was excellent. We started with the Garlic Cheese Bread. Unfortunately not pictured here. This is a MUST order. It was two about 6" round "loafs" of soft pillowy bread semi-hollowed out as a bowl. Then stuffed with this light fluffy cheese (ricotta blend?) We demolished it immediately. I would just get this and a cocktail and be in bliss. The Basil Chicken was moist and the sauce very flavorful but it's definitely spicy with its red curry. Don't know if you can ask for it to be more mild if you can't take the heat. The Shaking Beef was very good as well. A huge amount of tender beef with just enough chew with a nice glazed sauce over it. The side salad was light and refreshing. Defiinitely a great gem for the neighborhood whether for a fancy night out or just some good food. A little pricy but you're getting great quality for it.

Have not tried out their food but drinks are amazing cool little place to hang out if you need to be in the area for a little while such as you're waiting for friends or waiting for a movie to start etc.

My fiancé and I went to Girl Diver for the first time after living close by for 3 years. The decor and environment is very pretty and unique. The service was exceptional and our server was so nice. We had fried beef gyoza for our app and it was bomb. We were a little disappointed with the amount of seafood in our entrées considering it's a seafood restaurant. I got lobster Mac & cheese and it had about 4 pieces of lobster mixed with cherry tomatoes. My fiancé ordered the crispy octopus and it was delicious! It didn't have a lot of octopus either but more than my dish had. We would definitely recommend checking out Girl Diver.

I give this place a 3.5/5! A fusion between seafood + Cajun + Vietnamese: the lobster mac & cheese was creamy with the right flavor profile, although it needed a bit of salt & pepper, the lobster roll was tender and buttery with pieces of sautéed celery and onion but the bread needs work, the green papaya salad was light, fresh and very spicy , the Thai cream corn was excellent but the most surprising thing was the basil crème brûlée! It was delicate, well balanced but you could define taste that hint of basil at the end! Extremely well done!! I'll definitely be back to try more things!

I came to have great food and drinks with my buddy Carlos, and enjoyed the experience! The food was top tier and Tiana brought out the food and made the drinks top tier to liking! Must try must come and check it out! The atmosphere and music is welcoming and fun!

10/10 experience! Girl Driver is in my neighborhood so, I have NO idea why it took me so long to dine here. Everything was excellent from the ambiance, playlist, food, drinks and, service. Max just earned himself a regular! He took such great care of the table and had a fun personality. He made sure to explain all of the specials and which days to visit ( Bodega Tuesdays). For food, the table ordered: Brussels, Lobster Roll and, Lobster Mac & Cheese. The Brussels were gigantic and tossed in the most delicious sauce. And, I really enjoyed the Lobster Roll which was warmed with chopped lobster. The waffle fries were slightly addictive as they were that good. Definitely a round of applause to the bartender because they know how to make real drinks!
