I haven't been here in a while due to the poor customer service from the female employees and the small polrtion sizes. Spending more money to get a so-called large plate is an absolute waste of money. You're better off getting a smale plate cuz they scam you with the portion sizes on a large. You pay for a large but get the same amount with a small plate. Anyway, thought I'd give this place another go after years of not patronizing them but I see nothing has changed with this location and ithis evening viist to back this location was no different and was confirmation as to why I don't patronize this type of establishment. The female workers there are very bad for business. There are not friendly or courteous. They never smile. They're rude, have bad attitudes and are very disrespectful. Their communication is very poor. And on top of that there is definitely an obvious difference in how the female staff treat women customers. They're act like they don't want to deal with you unless you're a man. Was not greeted upon entering. They're very friendly, pleasant, nice and accommodating to men. They're not at all like that with other women like myself. However despite that I still showed myself friendly and said hello to the lady that fixed my platter. I watched as she piled food on top of food to the point of overflow in the container of the man standing in front of me. However, when it came time for her to fix my plate she gave me a container full of chicken bones instead of actual chicken legs or thighs and the portion size of a small when I ordered a large. Not only that, I noticed she had not put plantains in my container, and when I called her out on it she didn't acknowledge nor aplogize for not doing so. I spoke with the other older lady at the register about it and was rudely told to move down towards the end to wait to speak with the manager. While, the manager was friendly and somewhat accommodating and even apologetic, they only added 1 piece of chicken when I should have received at least 2 additional pieces of chicken to equate to a large and justify the cost of what they charge for it. I don't tolerate disrespect and poor customer service especially when it comes to my money so I definitely will not be returning after this yet again unpleasant experience. Word of advice to the owner, while I appreciate your response in advance to my post, I would appreciate it even more if you actually made some executive decisions with your mainly all female staff. You need to inderstand the female workers are bad for your business. You need to get people in there with the right atttitudes and mannerisms because your female staff doesn't seem to care that they're hurting and are poorly representing your business. I suggest speaking with them, even show them these honest 1 and 2 star reviews from customers like myself. We're all pretty much are saying the same thing so we all can't be wrong. Make the necessary changes(firing, hiring and customer service training) and improve your establishment for the better.

I ordered and paid for food on grubhub where the driver contacted me and told me golden krust doesn't have beef patties, and grubhub will refund me my money because they can't give me veggie patties in place of my "PAID FOR BEEF PATTIES" because they have to give me what i paid for? That's trifling, "Y'ALL" should be able to replace the mistake "Y'ALL" made, because how long yall been sitting around knowing yall didnt have beef patties made and its the lunch hour...

Dee was very pretty and nice. She represented the establishment well. Health score good. The Oxtails were delicious along with the red beans and rice. The cabbage was great. The price for two people was $25 each. I enjoyed my experience and will try something else next time. The meals are really filling.

I’m from Boston but was visiting family in Atlanta and had a craving for some jerk chicken. A quick Google search led me to Golden Krust and I’m so happy it did. The jerk chicken was seasoned to perfection down to the bone! My mom ordered the King fish (escovitch) and said it was delicious. I will definitely be making this my go-to Caribbean spot when I’m in town.

horrible service..the lady asked me what I wanted it was my second time in the store .. I’m new here to the area .. she ignored me and went to the next customer I was looking at the menu for two seconds before her rudeness!
This golden krust on old national food is very nasty oxtail tuff and black, jerk chicken raw fry chicken big and raw the food is simply NASTY!!!! And I am a Jamaican this is not how food cook but I realize say the old chef left and they keep hiring people that can’t cook the best thing you can get here is the white rice everything else you can feed a stray dog and please please don’t waste you money your better off going to ISLAND TAKE AWAY ON OLD NATIONAL

First time visiting and the young lady with orange hair asked if we were ready to order, my mother wanted a cowfoot meal. I asked her how much is the cowfoot, she tells me all prices are up on the board which it was not. The unnecessary attitude for one question, she even had to ask her coworker what the price was. Smh.
