Had lunch during our layover, Kenneth our server was excellent friendly and attentive, food was great burgers grilled mushroom Swiss worth it, fish and chips also very good!! Worth stopping in. The only issue with atmosphere was just the music volume, on the loudee side

I dined at Gordon Biersch during a layover on New Year’s Eve, opting for a mix of items including the GB Cheese Burger, Grilled Chicken with Bourbon Sauce, and the Taco Tuesday special, along with sides like the Bavarian Pretzel and a kids’ pasta. While the service was prompt and the atmosphere provided a welcome respite from the busy terminal, the food quality unfortunately fell short of expectations. The cheeseburger was noticeably dry, and the bun seemed oversized, slightly stale, and lacking freshness. The grilled chicken was overcooked to the point of being quite tough and nearly charred, which diminished its enjoyment despite the flavorful bourbon sauce add-on. The Taco Tuesday selection was decent but did not stand out. On a positive note, the Bavarian Pretzel was enjoyable, and the kids’ pasta was a reliable option. Overall, for an airport restaurant, Gordon Biersch offers a solid sit-down experience with house-brewed beers, but this particular meal was disappointing in terms of preparation and execution. I appreciate the effort in a high-volume setting and would consider returning for drinks or lighter appetizers, but I hope future visits show more consistency in the mains.

The only reason I’m not giving this one star is that the service was attentive and cheerful. Wife wanted a sit down dinner during a long layover. We confronted an absolutely vile meal. Burger brought back public school cafeteria memories. Pretzel had been soaked in some sort of garlic butter and was accompanied by a dish of mustard that must have sat for a day. Sliders each had a small slice of non descript bratwurst. Fish and chips were small, wrinkled disappointments. Everything accompanied by small handfuls of fries. Everything tasted like the marriage of freezer and microwave. Nobody finished their food. Beers were nothing to write home about either. Again, three cheers for the wait staff who were legitimately the only positive of this dump. People: stay downstairs in the food court.
