Came by here a day ago and Grass VBQ is not located at the Cloud Kitchen. I hope they find a permanent space. The food is soo soo good. I miss you Grass VBQ.
The food is to die for. My taste buds literally exploded when I took a bite of the Brunswick Stew.
I drove from Austell to Decatur only to find the restaurant is no longer at this hub. ?The restaurant has a really great product but appears to be financially unstable. I have followed them from Atlanta to Stone Mountain and now Decatur over the past few years.
I'm basing this review based on the quality of the food with regard to price and the time taken to prepare it.Overall the food is good not great. I would support again if I was in the area but I wouldn't drive any distance for it. The food was prepared rather quickly after about 20 minutes which was a plus. I ordered the Nashville chicken with a side of baked beans and potato salad. I couldn't finish the baked beans it was entirely too salty and the flavor was a miss. The potato salad was good but had a bit of a sweet taste which I didn't favor. The chicken sandwich was good but for the quality of taste I think it may be slightly overpriced. I'd recommend this place for someone wanting to try something different.
Ordered from Uber eats and was surprised how well the fries and onion rings kept. The garlic Parmesan fries are to die for! Had the faux chicken (Nashville hot) and pork (Vic rib) and was so delicious.
I was honestly a little sad that there was no physical place to eat. The food was really good, but they use styrofoam and plastic packaging, and it was raining when we went so we had to eat in the car. I wish they had a physical place to eat. If you're just going for takeout though, the food itself was very tasty for vegan junk food.
The smoked vegan meat sandwich was amazing, what else can I say!?Update: Nashville hot chicken sandwich was amazing as well!!
They’ve changed locations and quality of food. This restaurant was once one of my favorite places to eat in Atlanta, but after relocating, their quality of food has grossly diminished. The Nashville sandwich was awful this last time we visited. The texture of the “chicken” has changed and the patty itself tasted like it was still coated in cooking oil. Took one bite and spit out, did not finish my meal. Will definitely never go back again. This experience comes after not being refunded for an order at their old location, which was placed and apparently no longer open. The restaurant has not returned any calls or voicemails, nor have they updated the location online, except for their website now (over a month and a half after the move).
Flavor is amazing! I was shock by the mayors of spice. The heat is just enough, but not too much. I will be trying everything on the menu. Today we tried the Sloppy Joe, Mac & Cheese chicken sandwich and Nashville hot sandwich. I would not alert any of these in anyway. Delicious!
Vegetarian options: All vegan menu!
I almost didn't order because of some of the reviews but I'm glad I did. I got the smoked jackfruit, veef brisket, collard greens & mac n cheese. Everything was delicious!

The pictures of the inside and outside of the restaurant really threw me off. This is not a restaurant. It's ghost kitchen food pick up hub. There is no sign of this restaurant anywhere like you see in the photos. Was annoying bc I Intentionally tried to avoid a ghost kitchen and still ended up at one. You can only place an order online. No numbers to call or anyone from the restaurant to greet you. It is a shared space so who knows how the equipment and all and if it is shared with animal products. Would be nice to know considering its a vegan concept. The smoked link sandwich is great! The Mac n cheese is the most plain tasting mac and cheese you could ever imagine. The greens are not good either unfortunately.
The food was great! I got the plain Jane chicken sandwich! We got our order kinda late, so my fries were soggy, but the vegan chicken sandwich was great! We got our order late because we didn't receive a text on when it was ready. It was supposed to take 30min, but we waited an hour for the text. There was a goodwill near by, so I didn't really care :) 8/10 experience!
It feels so good to be able to eat BBQ with the knowing that its meat free!!! The sauce is incredible! I had the honey hot wings, flats and drums. The cool thing about the drums is that it comes on a flat charred wooden "stick", so you still get to experience that drumstick feel; pretty genius if you ask me. The pulled jackfruit sandwich is a generous portion and good and saucy. PLUS considering the food is cooked to order, it came out pretty quick. I'll definitely be back.
I waited 45 minutes past the time they opened for whatever unknown reason because no one was there and no notification online. Then once I got my food and hour later despite me being the only person there it was somehow cold. It was also just texturally not there for me. Don't recommend.
My jackfruit was cold my wingz was mushy my Mac and cheese taste like box and was horrible the beans was just nasty had a sour taste the greens had no taste the whole platter was horrible. I would never go again smh I’m scared to try something else #Veganuary
