My friends and I visited the beltline location on 8/8/2025 and while the food was good, the customer service was lack luster! 3 of us ordered tacos only to receive them without any sides. When I questioned the clerk/cashier who had also brought our food to the table about whether our meal came with rice , his response was “you gotta ask for it” I then stated does it cost an additional fee, he said “no, it comes with the meal you can select either rice or beans but you have to ask for it when you place your order” naturally my response was “ so you have to specifically request to receive the side items that the meal comes with?” I wanted him to hear how silly it sounds to expect customers who have never been to the establishment ( or any customer) to think to specify that I do indeed want the side items that I’ve paid for!!! Ultimately, I ordered the beans to go along with my meal. My friends and I were perturbed!! Today though, I look up their menu, only to discover that the tacos come with both rice and beans! Not one or the other as suggested! Moral of the story, the customer service was subpar at best! The food was great but we will likely not return because both components are equally important. In addition, we ordered margaritas as well but did not understand that only food would be delivered to our table outside but not drinks. That said, our drinks sat at the bar for an extended period of time unbeknownst to us. After awhile, the cashier did bring them to us and explained that they are not hand delivered. I explained to him that you cannot assume that every customer has dined there before and is thus familiar with this practice. He tried to right his wrong by providing all of us with shots on the house but despite his best efforts it just still wasn’t enough. It was a terrible customer service experience. Do better!

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend visiting when a particular cashier is on shift — an older African American woman with loose locs. My sisters and I came to celebrate a special occasion and collectively spent over $150 on drinks and a few food items. Despite being paying customers, several of us were met with unnecessary rudeness and unprofessional remarks from this staff member. If handling a larger crowd is overwhelming, it would be more appropriate to request a different shift rather than take it out on guests. It was especially disappointing that basic service standards such as asking about rim preferences on drinks were not met, and when we asked about it, the response was dismissive and inappropriate. As a business rooted in customer service, this type of behavior should be addressed. Please rectify this behavior she has officially ruined this location for us all :(

Editing my review since I came back with a friend. Completely different experience than the last. 10/10 would recommend. You absolutely HAVE to try the chicken tacos. They were seasoned to perfection. Hours later and we’re still talking about how good they were. Drinks were strong as usual.
