Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken

I took my 14 YO to ATL this weekend. He’s usually not a big eater. So, after exploring down town we went to Gus for dinner. The food was delicious! The chicken skin was crispy with the perfect amount of spice, the meat was so tender. My son ended up having 3 pieces of fried chicken. Driving home, I asked him out of everything we did in ATL what his favorite part was? He said Gus Fried chicken! Not the aquarium, the hotel, anything else down town. As a mother, I will always hold that as a very close memory. The staff was great . We have absolutely no complaints other than you are six hours away!

We frequent this place a couple times a month and this time has been one of the worst experiences ever. The district manager Adrian was very rude and doesn’t know how to talk to his customers after I spent over 100 dollars. The food was good as always but if they don’t have a talk to the dm about his customer service they’re going to lose a lot of customers. Tim was our cashier and he was very well mannered and provided excellent customer service and me and my family appreciate that because otherwise I would have given all one stars hopefully we’ll have a better experience with management next time.

Food only just ok, one piece of chicken was cold in the center... Price for what it was very expensive. And staff not the most friendly

Good chicken but they're awfully proud of it. Over $30 for a chicken sandwich & fries and a 2 piece dark meat "snack" with a side of macaroni.

The service was very good. Our waiter and others were definitely attentive and welcoming to their customers. The food was good, had a decent level of spice and priced well for portions and quality.
