Definitely not what it used to be, but still an ATL classic. I got bistec encebollado and it was really tough & dry. Small thin piece of meat for $15. Black beans and yellow rice were standard. Milkshake was not creamy but was overly sweet -- mostly just fruit paste. My lunch companion was not a fan of his Cuban sandwich -- not sure why but it did look underwhelming.

1st...I'm from Miami, so my expectations were high going in, but it was just a pretty bad experience across the board!
The service was rushed, rude, and un informative
The Cuban Sandwich was horrible!....The bread was stale! And the meat was shaved cold cuts .... like you'd buy at Walmart??? The pickles were not right for the Sandwich? So, all in all, it was just bad!
The Black Bean Soup was good, but was way overpriced for the amount? And so hot it burned my tounge 15 minutes after it was served?
We sadly went twice ...... our 1st trip and our last!!!
With all the writing on the wall about Best In Atlanta and Best In Georgia , we figured it would at least be okay?
I think this place probably had good authentic Cuban food at one time.....but they have been riding on that reputation for some time now???? All of the awards were older?
Sorry, I'd rather tell the truth than lie and say it was okay!
Oh, and lunch for my wife and I was right at $50.00!!!

The worst Cuban food I have ever seen in my life, the black beans tasteless and watery, the Cuban sandwich was pure salt and poorly prepared, the tostones looked like they were lying on the floor, in short, if it is Cuban food, it is not I saw no Cuban cook and the food does not have or come close to the flavor of Cuban food,,,,, in short, a disaster, I do not recommend it to anyone, a pure disaster
