I love how my child loves Cuban food. I grew up eating Cuban food in south FL and was so happy to finally step inside this place. Located super close to N Druid Hills on Buford, you step inside and you can see why this people keep coming back here. The place always has people dining inside. I am a huge fan of the black bean soup and the yucca con mojo. Both are super flavorful without being overly salty. My child loves the Milanesa which is a breaded steak sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cheese, and potato sticks on it. I also love all of the Jarrito flavors offered in their cooler as well.

One of the city's best lunch spots. Can't go wrong with the iconic cuban sandwich, perfect empanadas, or the rich black beans and yellow rice covered in a thick tomato gravy. The ropa vieja is no joke either. Don't think I've had anything here in the past 30 years that was less than spectacular. The ladies who run the spot are hilarious too.

I have been eating at the “Havana” as we have come to call it since I moved to Atlanta in 1977 (I was 13 years old!) The food is fantastic! A Cuban sandwich and black beans with white rice is my favorite! My father was in the restaurant business (Trader Vic’s) and he used to take the whole family on Sunday at least once a month.
