Outstanding...wonderful neighborhood gem. Arnette knows how to run a top shelf establishment from food, to service, to spirits, to charm.

We had not been to Haven for a while but had late lunch with some friends who were visiting. Sat outside in the lovely patio area and enjoyed Ahi Tuna salads and burgers. Service was good and we will definitely be back again.

We had a lovely dinner here outside in the covered area on a blustery night. We were delighted by the well prepared dishes and the great service.

First time here and we loved it! Had the bbq shrimp, the blue cheese salad (can't remember the exact name), and the short ribs. They were very busy when we first arrived so it took a minute to be able to place our order but service was great from then on. We will definitely rely be back!

More of a let down this time. 2 birthdays —and asked for good table outside. But seated outside by service station —bad table. Ordered beverages. After 15 minutes Had to ask for someone to take our order. Bienets —disappointing-please change the recipe. Tasted like dried crumbling cardboard—no flavor or chewy bite. I had Haven breakfast—bacon was not cooked. Hickory flavor was mixed up in my grits as well. Biscuit, meh. Would not order again. Other guest enjoyed shrimp and grits. Other table had birthday dessert surprise with candle. No mention of our birthdays by waiter. Tipped valet for car parked right where I was standing to get my car! Made No sense

From the moment we were greeted by Haven's friendly hostess and seated in a spacious booth, we knew our dining experience at Haven was going to be incredible. Paulo greeted us right away and walked us through the well rounded menu. We were then greeted by Chef Giancarlo who proudly presented to us our appetizers that included the grilled artichokes, smoked beets and mussels. All were expertly prepared and delicious. We enjoyed cocktails and wine with our appetizers and then followed with entrees that included the pork chop, short ribs and fish of the day - fresh halibut. We chose a red blend from Haven's well rounded wine list and then followed up with an "out of this world" carrot cake. If you are looking for a great dinner in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, Haven is the place to go! Thank you Chef Giancarlo and Paulo. I can see why you are celebrating your 22nd year.

We had a perfect evening to dine in the outdoor tent with friends. The food and the service were outstanding, as usual. Looking forward to the next time.

Excellent service from everyone, host, servers, and especially the bar tender, who always knows exactly what food and drinks we are looking for. The burgers and drinks at the bar for our impromptu date night was absolutely perfect. Always appreciate how we are treated by the staff. Their service is a testament to the many regulars who walk in and get the "Norm!" treatment by whomever is behind the bar. We cannot wait to spend our next date night at Haven.

First time visiting Haven at the recommended of a friend. Overall we had a great experience! We were able to make a reservation for 6 at lunchtime with ease. The food was good! The “Potato Hay” fries were a little too crispy and could have used a tad more flavor but the portion was generous and a great shareable for the table. The salmon entrée was delicious and I would order again in a heartbeat. I would not hesitate to come back in the future for a dinner service.

“Tuesday special” meatloaf was delicious and generous portion for leftovers. Patio was very chilly with ceiling fans going full blast and maybe an AC unit. The temp outside was lovely and it would have nice to have some of the vinyl flaps open to experience the outdoor environment.

As one knows, be it after years of experience or the first time, one thing to going wrong is to be expected. But, not during our private dining on patio luncheon held on October 21st! Katelyn, the event manager was jokingly asked to 'order up' good weather, and even that work out perfectly.
From the moment we entered the restaurant your team was on top of everything. They were always there, but not intrusive, immediately hopped on whatever request was made and handled all timing perfectly. Kudos to Chef - the food was delicious!!! All comments were positive and beyond - perfectly prepared, hot, good portions, well plated and plenty of variety. No one left hungry.
I cannot thank Katelyn and the entire staff at Haven, enough for making this surprise retirement party, a special occasion, even more memorable.

With appreciation,
Eleanor Hochberg

Haven offers a solid brunch, and we love that the patio is both dog-friendly and covered — a perfect go-to when the weather is questionable, and they usually have last-minute availability. Food notes: •Beignets: Delicious starter for groups or anyone with a sweet tooth (kids love them too). •Short Rib Hash: Hearty, flavorful, and always great. •Omelette Specials: My usual go-to. Just wish the kitchen would consistently catch that I'm lactose intolerant and need no cheese. The center can also be a bit underdone, especially when I order egg whites — but flavor-wise, still love it. •Ham Benedict: Solid classic. •Steak & Eggs: Disappointing the one time we tried it — especially given the price point. •The Big Nasty: Legit comfort food, but would love if it came on a biscuit instead of a soft bun (or if there was an option to swap). •Breakfast Potatoes: Extra crispy with onions — I personally love them, but some might find them a touch too dark Drinks: •Coffee menu is limited — just drip, cappuccino, and double espresso, with cream as the only option. •Would love to see non-dairy milk options and better coffee quality overall — we've skipped brunch a few times because of that. Service & vibe: •Always attentive and friendly. •Really appreciated the thoughtful touch during our last visit — they surprised my husband with a brownie for his birthday and brought me a dairy-free dessert so I wasn't left out. All in all, Haven remains one of our favorite casual-yet-upscale brunch spots — just a few tweaks away from being perfect.
