This place is the real deal. I take everyone I can to eat this food. The collards, fish cake, chicken paddy, the samosas and the black eyed peas? They’re delicious. The maduros and mock goat? GTFOH.I come back time and again though for the jerk bean curd…if that’s what it’s called. I get it every time. The BBQ Tofu is on point and whenever I bring friends, they comment about the spice level which makes me ??? This is one of my favorite vegan spots in Atlanta. I’ll be back again and again. Atmosphere is simple. Can eat inside or outside. Tiny spot with big flavor. I highly recommend. If you go, you gotta grab a licorice stick at the end too. Excellent for post-meal digestion and honestly, I don’t know another spot in ATL offering that. This is the kind of place the late Anthony Bourdain would have loved. It’s off the beaten path, affordable, delicious, unique flavors, locally owned. Beats Planta by a mile and a half.Vegetarian options: Eat here do not delay.

This restaurant is small with a "down to earth" atmosphere. The whole menu is vegan and well prepared to satisfy the taste buds. I love their selection "sea moss" infused drinks. They offer the most decadent vegan cakes, including Blueberry coconut and carrots cake.Vegetarian options: This restaurant offers an all vegan menu with no animal or dairy ingredients.Parking: This restaurant has free parking.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is great for the whole family and very kid friendly.

Food has no taste and flavor

Long time fan/customer since 2009! Great vegan food! It's like ordering from your aunt or uncle so don't come with thin skin. They will answer all your questions but don't hold up the line lol. I love it here, I always show the wall of fame (iykyk) to my first timers. Mac on Friday and Sat, with the greens?! ‍...curry veg ungoat unfish cakes lentil soup, the juices. Just go..

this food was just not it I mean I definetly had better at other caribbean restaurants. And i know this is vegan and I AM vegan but the flavor was lacking. From the rice peas to the curry to the mac n cheese to the unfish pattie to the eggplant. I would say the eggplant tasted the best but it was a simple tomato based flavor to me nothing special. This food is lack luster. Where is the seasoning? The flavor is lacking overall but let me tell you about the PRICES. $21 for a dang large plate which is 1 meat substitute and 3 sides and I AM EXPECTING for this food to be good for that price. WRONG! The flavor just isn’t there and it’s way too expensive. This is the type of restaurant that after you done eating, you know you can cook this better at home. The sorrel drink was okay but the ginger in it is kinda overpowering and some people are not going to like that. This place just isn’t it im sorry i was expecting better for this place to have 4 stars, knock it down some. Im rating this one star because for this food to be expensive as it is and the flavor wasn’t wow’ing me… no. Just no.

First time there, was allowed to taste test the food so that’s a Plus. I got beans & rice with the curry ungoat and eggplants. Eggplant got that nice kick, Rice is amazing but the Curry ungoat is Heaven on Earth.

I enjoyed my first foray into vegan food. I am glad I selected this spot. I had a vegetable plate, lentil soup, unfish fritter and sweet potato bread. Loved the pairing of the soup and unfish. I forgot the name of my drink but it has ginger and lemonade in it and not standard sugar. The staff was quite helpful and they allowed my to sample the food. I really liked how they prepared the food with the seasoning. Parking can be issue depending on what time you go and they can only accommodate about twenty people at a time. I will be going back, remember when you know better, you do better. The food here is better!Vegetarian options: The selections all fit our category. This place seasons it's food well. I will be back.

I never write reviews, so this was really a disappointment. First of all I ordered two sides and instead of the lady giving me a plate with two sides she charged me the most she could possibly charge and made it two individual containers, which I didn’t want. So all that did is jack up the price of this mediocrely seasoned food. I ordered the greens which were bland, but I was glad it wasn’t salty. I also had the Run-down which was just ok. The only thing I had edible when I left was the cold fish cakes that had just brought from the back and my green lemonade. The lady Apparently should not have been working the Register. The guy behind me had a full plate and paid less than me and all I ended up with was food I didn’t want. Guess I just paid $27 for juice today. Health essence was definitely not helpful.

I went there but did not order anything. Trying something different, I was tangled up by their menu board. Just a white board written with a marker. Seems easily enough to make menu changes or corrections. They decided not to & I left in frustration.
