Amazing gluten free biscuits. The sweets were good too. I made the mistake of not realizing everything is gluten free, and I asked the man behind the counter to confirm something was GF. He did NOT appreciate it. Great other than that.
A shadow of its former self. HYGF used to maintain stubbornly high standards, but a clumsy expansion and ownership changes have left it mediocre and inconsistent. As a celiac, my options are limited. It's been a real shame watching a beloved institution become a desperate and mediocre husk.
The first bakery we have tried where gluten free does not automatically mean a compromise in flavor or texture. We loved all the items we tried - even those who can enjoy gluten thought they were good quality for “standard” bakery fare. Parking was horrendous
