The food of this place? Absolutely amazing. But unfortunately there seems to be an issue with their POS system or something, because they charged my card incorrectly and refuse to make things right... I see that I am also not the only person to have this problem when I look over other reviews left recently for this restaurant, which concerns me.
I ordered nachos and a glass of water and left a 5 dollar tip... my bill was $23.51, and that somehow turned into $158.55 on my bank statement. Which doesn't even make sense. I've been fighting this fraudulent issue for a while now, and it seems like they are not willing to accept their mistake for what it is.
It really hurts to have to leave this review because the nachos were absolutely the best I've EVER had. I strongly recommend using cash if you eat here, because they are clearly not above screwing up your bill and trying to fraud your card for more than what you paid for.

I stayed in this hotel for a work conference and ate here twice. I split both bills between a work and business card, and they mis-charged/overcharged me TWICE. I've tried calling multiple times and have either been told a manager would call me back (spoiler alert: that never happened) or they don't answer at all and my call is sent to a full voicemail box. I never write reviews but this place stole money from me (and my business) and can't be bothered to make it right.
Great beer selection 👌🏻

The door staff are rude and the wait staff are slow and inattentive. Drinks are pricey but good if you are ready to wait forever for your order. Just go elsewhere frfr
We frequently visited High Velocity every evening to chill out during our stay in Atlanta. It was conveniently located inside the Marriott Marquis hotel. The nachos, buffalo dip, the chicken fingers - were all good. The service was however, slow for the most part. Other than that, there was a space for pool table which seemed to be huge hit with the patrons!

We had the nachos and shared between two people and it was plenty for a quick dinner after we made it to the hotel and got settled. We felt a little crazy when we sat down and were given menus that looked completely different than the one we saw online before coming in. It's possible there was a recent change and the menu was condensed. The nachos were great and the waiter was very nice but the staff overall was mildly inattentive despite how empty the place was.

Food is good and service is friendly but super inattentive. They’ll serve people before you and rarely check up on you. Had 3 people order their drinks before me despite sitting and getting my menu before them. Staff will stand at the other side of the bar never checking people on their drinks, so they missed out on my two beer orders.
I usually tip 20% even when there’s slow staff or mistakes, but being ignored by unbusy staff, both ones walking by and those on standing around on the other side, is pretty bad and hasn’t improved for 3 years. Get a new manager.

We have been in Atlanta for Lads to Leaders this weekend. Vanessa waited on our table of 8. She had a wonderful attitude and was sooo Sweet to our whole bunch. Yes we usually go with the regular tipping but tonight we did extra. Please praise Vanessa for her wonderful job and attitude.

We got there right after they opened and the cook staff must show up when they want cause our food took forever. They comped us Buffalo chicken dip since we waited so long. But other than that it was good, drinks are pricey $16.50 for tito and cranberry.

Took forever to get any service, even longer to get the wrong drinks and warm beer. Clearly there is no management.

Ordered Cajun pasta which was average. They gave it another person, she sent it back by the time I got it it was cold and obviously picked at. Save your money. Just across the street to the fast food court.

Good service food quite good. Excellent choice for young families staying at the Marriott Marquis who have no energy to leave the hotel! Located on the AL.
