Good service food quite good. Excellent choice for young families staying at the Marriott Marquis who have no energy to leave the hotel! Located on the AL.

I was very impressed by the service. I got the shrimp and fries to start out the night and the brownie and champagne to end the night. Highly recommend sitting at the bar. Everyone is super friendly and food was delicious. I live in Atlanta and want to come back just for the experience I received tonight. A++++++

James served the table with excellence. He definitely was very welcoming and accommodated our table when we had a small party the first day as well as the large party of guests on the second day. Thanks for an awesome experience!
Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the food as well.

The service was great. The food was good too! We impulsively stopped at the restaurant on a Saturday evening while in town for a convention. The burger. Onion rings and chicken quasidilla hit the spot! We had just flown in and this place revived us.

This restaurant is attached to Sear in the Marriott. The night before we had eaten in Sear and had a very disappointing meal. Monday night we decided to give High Velocity a try as it was the only restaurant open in the Marquis. While my husband's food was good, I ordered the fish and chips. The fries that came with it were the same exact lukewarm "kept under a heat lamp" fries from the night before, and the fish was horrible. The actual fish inside the fried plank was no thicker than my little finger--hardly any actual fish inside at all! The batter was far too thick and very unappetizing. Our server was wonderful, took away my dish that I could not eat, and brought me the seared salmon. While I was able to eat that, it was also overcooked and dry. The rice pilaf was good, the broccoli was under-cooked. This is the first time we have had such disappointing food from either restaurant. Very sad.

Terrible avoid! Waited an hour for half the wrong food and half the food not arriving, and it’s pretty empty too

I wish that I could give this place ten stars. My husband and I visited on a Friday afternoon. Being slightly weary from travel and just getting a chance to wind down, we decided on High Velocity for a quick bite. With the challenges of the last couple of hours, my palate was also ready for something a lot stiffer than sweet tea. We both opted for fish and chips and I decided to indulge in the 30303 The Mark and boy, did it hit the mark! Actually, the bartender stepped away for a few minutes and our server, LaShawn made the drink and she did it with bullseye intent! She does a perfect pour and definitely needs more time behind the bar! To be honest, besides the tasty food, Lashawn made our entire visit awesome. She was very attentive, professional, knowledgeable of the menu and held a great chat. With 30 televisions, we were also advised that we could have our own and to just request channel changes, if needed. Overall, great hospitality, LaShawn. She’s a keeper, High Velocity. Great place. Love the pool table room! 10/10!

This place was very convenient to our hotel. What made it so great was our waitress. Key, her suggestions, her smile and service were top of the line. The salad was great. The cauliflower wings were okay. I didn't like all the breading. For some reason, I was expecting a house made, but they looked and tasted, prepacked . Key suggested a new sparkling water, and now I'm hooked. My friend had the same salad with an impossible burger added. There are not too many vegan/plantbased options, but it's still a good place..

the bartenders walk around with blinders , multiple times, they just walk by people sitting at the bar for service

Horrible customer service. Refuse to let us sit in front of the big screen TVs that have the hockey game on. Play status in front of a bunch of small TVs. Then come to find out they had no draft beers on tap. So basically this is a sports bar that was not set up for the final game 7 of the NHL Stanley cup finals.

Decent food not the best service but if you don't feel like going out to a better cheaper local bar this is fine, nothing special though and a bit overpriced for what you're getting

Went Saturday night to eat before an event, we were seated fast but our overall wait was well over 2 hours. Our server KC was inattentive. We never got refills until way later when we got our food over an hour and a half later. My tomato and mozz flatbread with shrimp was disgusting. the Shrimp were rock hard, the bread was super doughy for a flatbread and it was barely lukewarm.
5 people were eating at my table and all of our food was bad and cold. You can tell they made it and it sat under the heat lamp for a bit. The waiters were standing around talking and doing nothing. We got the manager to try and make it right and even he was inept. He tried to push the idea on us that the kitchen was overwhelmed. We said yeah okay we get that but that doesn't excuse the server standing around. Then he tried to make it right by giving us drinks, which even that went wrong.
The server or manager lied and said that when the server came to get our drink orders, we said we didn't want anything. And that was ANOTHER 20 minute wait. Finally we said give us our tab and let us go. He gave us a pitiful 20% discount for a 3 hour horrendous time and I will never go back again. Not only that but I witnessed the table next to us get the saddest steak I have ever seen. He ordered medium rare and it looked like a shoe and his onion rings were soggy.
