After 1.5 hrs we were asked by Gil (manager) to give the table up. I have to wonder if our party had included a male if such an offensive request would have been made. We ordered 4 drinks and an app on an early Wednesday evening reservation. I have lived in VaHi/ Morningside for decades and I have never been treated so poorly anywhere intown. We will scratch The Tap off our list. So disappointing.
The Blackened Prime was loaded with flavor. I could taste the love.
One of my favorite hang out places or date night places. It never disappoints.

Our service was amazing. Everyone was overly kind and helpful. From helping me find the bathroom, to chasing us down to give us our to-go food (that we left on the table), to giving us recommendations on food and drink, we have zero complaints about Tap. We will definitely be back!!

Easily one of the Top 20 steakhouses in America. The cuts of meat are generous, the sides are top choice… and the bar serves top notch drinks. If you’re traveling, this place is on par with steakhouses like XIT in Dalhart Texas, Bob’s and Three Forks in Denton and Dallas, Knights Steakhouse in Ann Arbor. So, if you’re in town, craving an amazing meal and experience, Highland Tap will not disappoint!

One of the best old school Atlanta restaurants…still has the best prime rib in the city for the price. Can’t recommend this place enough.

My girlfriend loves to come here for the Prime Rib any time she's craving meat, and their Tap Martini and Manhattan are very tasty

Best dirty Martini you'll ever have
Our waitresses gray in the food was fantastic. There were two different burgers, fries, onion rings, french onion soup, and a special of the day chicken pot pie. Yuuuuuummmm!

Restaurantji Recommends
I had never been to Virginia Highlands before and originally was wanting to go to a different restaurant, but we didn't end up going to that one. Instead, a passerby recommended this little basement restaurant, and I absolutely loved it!! I got the Escargot, a Mushroom and Swiss Burger, and had their Lavender cocktail. The food and drink was decently priced, and I will definitely be coming back!

Great service. Food was good. I wish two sides came with the entree or that the allowed family style side.

We were visiting from Nashville and visited our daughter who had just started working there . It is a incredible experience with a sense of a speak easy, a no nonsense menue , steaks cooked over hickory embers that melt in your mouth. I am looking forward to our next visit!!!
