Awful customer service.Ordered, guy didn’t greet us at all, just mumbled “what do you want?”, then gave us a 10-minute estimate. Stood there waiting, watched the guy serve everyone but us for 20 minutes, and he just kept looking at us, but saying nothing and providing no update. Communicated to other people that their food was on its way or running behind, gave us nothing. Finally asked for an update, guy was a jerk about it. Then when our food was finally ready, I walked up to the counter, dude looked at me holding my food, walked to the opposite end of their counter, and set it as far away from me as he possibly could.Food taking longer than expected is one thing, and other people’s food being ready before mine isn’t really a problem, but being a jerk when I ask for an update is wild.Keith Lee was right about Atlanta. Don’t come here for the customer service, cause there isn’t much to be found here. Been here about a month, and I’ve gotten some awful customer service, but Hippie Hibachi is the worst by a pretty big margin.

Food did NOT live up to the hype. The hibachi was very dry, stale, and unseasoned. The (eggplant) tacos are the best thing to try.

Didn’t want to leave a review in hopes that my former coworkers would prosper and be a able to save a sinking ship, however, during my time working here I have to point out the manager’s orders not to wash the rice pots because it’s too time consuming or lack of cleanliness on the counters where we prepped food again to save time and the owner’s laxidasical response to any real crisis that didn’t directly affect his comfort. I’m reading others’ reviews now particularly the one about the cashier acting like he didn’t want to be there. No surprise because the higher ups made it unbearable to be there. Prioritize cleanliness and common decency and the world will be a better place.

This is now my third time going to the establishment, and my rice has been overcooked, to the point of it being crunchy while eating. A $25 meal.I have tried to brush it off previously, even joking with the cashier to please make sure that my rice isn’t overcooked. Yet, unfortunately has still happened. What prompted me to leave a review today, however, was because I witnessed the most disgusting service I have seen from a fast food place in a while when a (1) Young African American man, with Dread/braids, who was picking his scabs on his hands as he was attending to the customer after me. Flicking off skin he was peeling at, then handling food. His attitude was as if he did not want to be there.Though nasty, not as egregious as the second young man who was Hispanic, with long curly hair. (2) This young man proceeded to prepare our food today WITH NO GLOVES!!!!!!. With his bare hands, he added multiple toppings and additions to the meal, while looking me in the eye a couple of times. It was the most disgusting display of food service I had ever witnessed. And I had evidently seen that this was a common thing for him To be unfazed as we caught eye contact and I watched him prepare food. Who knows where his hands had been!!!!I love vegan food, and was excited to find a vegan hibachi spot, but I will not be returning to this establishment again. Nasty.

We got the organic mushroom hibachi plate... and it was PHENOMENAL. man oh man. Just excellent. After walking around the shops, we decided to get some more Hippie Hibachi to take home. We live in Riverdale... I wish this place was closer, I'd be going all the time. The man made the food so fast each time, and he was super pleasant. I can't wait till next time.

We eat here every Sunday and depending on who’s cooking, not only is the flavor hit or miss but also the portion size. Today I had to ask for more rice, just to fill the plate…the way it use to be when we first started coming. Then I said I would pay for extra yum yum sauce since that too was scarce. The cook felt the need to come and tell me it was extra after I had already told the cashier I wanted to purchase it. SMH work on consistency please and treat your customers well. There are too many options for food here for the staff to not care about portions, customer service and flavor.

I love how FLAVORFUL the plates are!! LOVE the vegan menu concept. The veggies were perfectly charred and delicious. The teriyaki sauce is not overly sweet, which I appreciate. The konjac root has such a nice color and flavor to it. Everything balanced out greatly. Would love to go agian!

Went on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered 3 hibachi plates and an order of tacos. Overall the food was good. The rice could have been better and some meat/veggies were too salty. The tacos were good but really greasy. The guy at the front counter was not very friendly. Food took quite a while to come out.

My boyfriend and I split an impossible burger and eggplant hibachi. While I'm happy to see a fully vegan place available, I was disappointed in the squishy, undercooked eggplant and super salty impossible burger. The portion was pretty good since we were able to split it. I wasn't super hungry though. My boyfriend said it was alright but he'll eat pretty much anything.

Walked around looking for this place for 30 mins and then left when I couldn’t find it inside Chattahooche Works. There no signage or anything

This place is flames!!!!! I got the hibachi with chicken & shrimp + the tacos with impossible meat. Tacos were cooked on the grill with this yummy cheese that didn't taste weird at all! Lol. It's been years since I've had hibachi & this was so good even my non vegan mom thoroughly enjoyed. (I DO wish the veggies in the hibachi were a little crunchier, but that's just personal preference.) Manager was super nice too! Support the vegan restaurants y'all!
