Oysters were delicious, owner and GF were so nice and welcoming, my husband loved his catfish burger, mom loved her shrimp tacos, I loved the different types of egg rolls, and me and my mom loved our rum punch
Amazing staff. One of my fave places in ATL.
Great beer and immaculate vibes
I wish I could give zero stars. Visited once and never will go back. There are TONS of better breweries around and a few that have closed over the last couple years. How this place stays open, I have no idea! Every beer was watered down and had a weird sweetness that tasted like they added fake sugar to them.
The experience I had at this place was phenomenal! The food, fantastic. The music, my type, the alcohol superb. I highly recommend you give this place a shot. The hospitality and customer service they offer is unmatched. I tried many new places on my trip to Atlanta and this was my favorite. I had the some triple threats, spicy chicken bites and fries, and some rum punches! Thank you LaMont and Adriona!
Visited from Philly and loved Hippin Hops Brewpub! The oysters were fresh, the food was delicious, and Triple Threat did not fail me. Friendly staff, quick service, and a lively atmosphere made it a perfect stop. Can’t wait to come back! 🍷🦪🍻
Came down from New York to check out Hippin Hops Brewpub and wow—what a vibe! The food was next-level tasty, and I was so excited to see vegan wine on the menu (yes, it’s a thing and yes, it’s amazing). The atmosphere is lively, the staff is super friendly, and the whole place just feels like a good time. Definitely adding this spot to my “must-visit again” list for my next trip south! 🍷🍽️🍻
Hippin Hops is a whole vibe! From the moment you walk in, the energy is upbeat, the staff is all smiles, and the management clearly runs a tight, happy ship. The oysters? Next-level fresh and full of flavor. The drinks? Spot-on and dangerously good. Perfect spot for good times, great food, and even better people.
They dont even answer the phone..
It was good. Specialty brewery. From my peers that was good as well. Nice vibe and atmosphere. Big screen TV to watch the game.

I truly enjoyed my latest visit to Hippin Hops. The food, service, and atmosphere were all great, and all the other customers were having a really good time with Trivia Night! It's become my favorite spot for casual dining, and I'll be back again and again! Even the different beer options are starting to grow on me since they let me taste a few. Try it, you'll like it!!
Loved the oysters and the vibe! Nice staff and stellar management.
I came here after seeing great reviews on Facebook. It was also national oyster day & oyster bar is literally in their name. I got the Bottom of the Bayou oysters and I was highly disappointed. they were horrible. The crawfish was nonexistent on my plate and the shrimp was overcooked. The crabmeat was the star but couldn’t save the day. The oysters we basically raw, not baked as advertised and the entire plate lacked flavor. There are only 5 oysters on the plate and when I bit the second one it had a weird taste as if it was spoiled and I immediately spit it out. The $4 garlic break was a joke, it was hard and the garlic wasn’t even in the room. I asked for my bill to see a 20% gratuity added and I wouldn’t mind had I not sat at the bar for 10 minutes before being acknowledged, waited almost 30 minutes for my food, and then spent another 10 minutes waiting for the bartender to come back so I could ask for my check. I spent $40 for an upset stomach and subpar customer service, I will not be back.
I will say the food is great but the drinks are trash. Especially for it to be a brewery. Can’t even get a simple marg right and they are constantly running out of liquor.
DELICIOUS oysters and atmosphere in my favorite part of town. What else could you ask for? Oh.. it’s the first black-owned brewery in GA also? Bet.
