Local place is always full of good people. Workers are sweet. The owner cares about the community and their workers too. I come here all the time. Try the pineapple banana bread!

Cute little coffee shop that aims to be a community space. Wifi, free water, and plenty of seating are available. Local art and crafts are available for purchase along with house made baked goods and quality espresso drinks. Traditional drinks are offered as well as house made lemonade, chai, ginger beer, and flavor syrups like lavender and rose. A queer friendly space, get tasty treats and quality drinks!

First timer here, I loved the vibe of this place, I was in the mood for tea, the barista suggested the lavender tea it was perfect, very creamy, and fluffy. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

The service, drinks, and food are very good! Fun options for seasonal drinks. There are some things from local artists and jewelry makers for sale as well. The parking lot is attached and usually provides ample space but is better for smaller cars. There is a lot of indoor seating with big tables and some outdoor seating with smaller tables.
Recommended dishes: Bless Your Heart, Muffins, Jamaican Patties
Wonderful people, always excellent customer service and friendliness to all with great causes represented and a sense of community with fun touches. Drinks are a bit limited of a menu, but the food case is solid. Atmosphere I'd give five stars if not for multiple items they've needed to fix for months.
Vegetarian options: They put the good in vegan baked goods and label them clearly! Banana bread is a hit among some others.

The turkey sandwich and chips was delicious. Usually I wouldn't pay $11 for a sandwich and chips but the sandwich was heated/toasted and the mayonnaise was a homemade blend and it was also delicious and then put the mayo on the sandwich= scrumptious and stupid good ? at the time their ac wasn't working so it was kinda hot in the one sitting area and that's only reason I put 4 stars for atmosphere instead of 5 ?

I love the atmosphere and the coffee at hodgepodge. I live right next door so naturally hodgepodge is my go to, but as of late, the service there is so apathetic, unwelcoming, and indifferent to the point that when I enter to order it already seems like I am an inconvenience to the staff. An unapologetically uncaring staff meets long wait times for coffee, then I’m stuck paying $10 for a coffee and waiting 10 minutes for it to arrive. It sucks because it’s my neighborhood coffee shop, but the moment I enter I can hear the staff’s sighs as if they’re angry another customer is entering.

Coffee was alright, maybe a bit muted. Service was fine, barista taking order was kind. Coffee priced wildly. Highway robbery.Ordered a oatmilk "Oh Honey". Ive been to a lot of coffee shops in a lot of places, different states/countries but this is where I draw the line. Ten Dollars Seventy Three Cents. 10.73$ for a single latte with oatmilk is absurd. Simply outrageous. This is prior to tipping, their tiping scheme was starting at 20% if I wasnt mistaken. Wont be back, coffee is alright but pricing has been going to the moon here. Nobody should be paying these prices for a latte. No AC in the place at the moment either. 10.73$ let that sink in before you go, or take a group of 4, and spend 40$+ on 4 coffees!

It's great that they have vegan options (plant-based milks, vegan cookie, pineapple banana bread, spinach patty), but I was not at all impressed with my drink. I got a hot soy matcha latte. I asked for them to sweeten it with simple syrup, and they left it out. They also got matcha all over the cup. :(

The coffee was really good, and they even have some vegan food options! It's a really cute place too! My only complaints are that it was super hot inside, and it was hard to find seating near an outlet.

Really freaking hot in there lately. How do they expect their workers to deal with that? Let alone see people get charged an outrageous $11 latte if they want it iced and with alt milk. Most places don’t even charge for alt milk anymore, let alone ice. Also have heard from several artists friends who seem to think they’re never going to get paid from this establishment. Yikes
Coffee: 3.5/5Service: 5/5Good cafe overall.Coffee was okay, you may need to adjust the coffee to your liking.Plenty of seating for you and a group. Boardgames available. Plenty of parking.
