Best experience we've ever had at Holeman and Finch, and we've been to this location many times. Often reluctantly because there are few good choices near the Arts center. Great modifications to the menu. A+ Chef Hopkins!! We're excited to go back.
Service was SO slow - had to ask where our drinks were. Food delivery even slower - chopped salad had no dressing - asked twice for dressing - cornbread came at the very end and was burnt - could not eat Burger was great - carbonara great but the portion was super small - smoked trout dip was good but had more cream cheese that trout. Restaurant was not very busy. This is NOT what I expect not experienced of the H&F of the past!
Great bartender conversation and the fried oysters were a delicious treat. Maybe stick with the old fashioned instead of the bacon fat coffee drink but then maybe that choice was on me.
