Howell's Kitchen and Bar

I have been going to the restaurant for 5 years, I like to go because their food is delicious, I really like going to the restaurant's patio, but for some time now I no longer feel like my family and I are welcome at the restaurant, one of the new managers looks at everything I order and even asks the waiter about everything that my wife and I order, last Saturday my wife and I went to dinner as usual every Saturday there was a new manager that I hadn't noticed before, she started us running out of the restaurant at 9:30 pm and the restaurant closed at 10 pm. What I didn't like was that she and the bartender were talking too loudly, she wanted to leave and she was just waiting for those people. Yeah, there were the two of us, another table and one person at the bar. I think everyone heard because we all left except the bartender. My wife told the bartender that it wasn't right to run after the customer yelling at them when they were walking into the kitchen. These are some bad experiences I've had going to a place that before I considered something very nice to relax.

I've been here several times and have yet to be disappointed in the food or service, but my favorite thing about the place is the vibe. The outside patio is also great when the weather is right. It is open and airy.

Good quality food except the grilled chicken was extremely salty. Otherwise, the atmosphere was nice and service was exceptional & timely!

Went to Howell's for an early dinner/late lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pizza and chicken fettuccine alfredo were good, although my pasta portion seemed a little smaller than what you may get at an Olive Garden or Cheesecake Factory. All in all, it was a pleasurable experience and I would definitely go back.

Delightful, local, elevated pub and bar Howell's does not disappoint. The service is warm and friendly. The food is fresh, hot, and straight forward. And the atmosphere is neighborhood cozy. An absolutely delightful place for a bite. Stop by and try it!!

We visited today for my husband's birthday. He doesn't like veggies so he asked if he could get the hangover hash without any veggies except the potatoes and was told by our waitress that it would be no problem. His plate arrived and it was covered with green garnish, which he hates as it, too, is a veggie. As he was eating, he noticed that it was under seasoned. He looked for S&P on the table but there wasn't any. Our waitress was nowhere in sight so after 5 minutes of waiting and his food getting cold, we flagged down someone who brought us some. He began eating again and noticed there were no potatoes! So after another 5 minutes, he flagged down someone else who brought him a small bowl of hash, with all of the veggies. Our glasses were empty at that point and again, we had to ask for refills from someone else. Our waitress never came to check on us until almost the end of our meal, at which point, we just gave up on getting it right. After finishing our meal, we sat another 5 minutes before asking for our check from someone else, who brought it to us. Finally, she came and took the check. Overall, my burger and fries was good, but my husband's hash was not because the waitress didn't order it correctly and never checked on us to remedy the problem. She was literally the worst waitress we have ever had.

Parking: When we came, there were a few parking spots open.

Take out order - I don’t write reviews often but let me save you …. for the price I paid and the quality being so poor. Don’t go. Chick-fil-A is next door go there and save time, money, and get better quality.

I ate here for lunch today with my parents and about four people served us. One of those people was very rude… Basically walking off from our table before we could tell him what we needed. When I described him to our main server, she apologized and said he was the manager. I was really shocked because his attitude was horrible for someone managing in the service industry. The food here is really good but I’m giving them two stars based on the service today. Besides the manager, everyone else was pleasant and helpful.

Weather permitting, outside eating is great. Inside a little too noisy for me. Food has always been surprisingly good. Service staff have always been friendly. Their regular free lot is closed, but they currently have overflow parking at the post office next door.

I had the spicy pizza, it was tasty as well as the Ceasar salad. My friend at the fried cauliflower and the shrimp and Grits. The Grits need to be cooked a tad bit longer.

Our server was friendly and accomdating. The patio is really nice.

It was a girls dinner out and Howell's Kitchen served us well! Our server Brandon was great, we loved the vibes of the atmosphere. The food presentation was picturesque, hot and delicious. We will for sure visit again. Excellent HK!

Parking: Parking spaces are available however, due to the parking deck being under construction there's overflow parking at the post office next door.
