The stir-fry dish we ordered looked great and the portion are def large enough to fill you up, plus the rice was perfectly steamed. However, the service was incredibly slow during our visit, and the meat itself ended up being way too greasy and heavy.
Really awesome chinese food!!

HSU’s Gourmet Chinese Restaurant in Atlanta is honestly one of the best Chinese spots I’ve been to. The food was AMAZING, the fried rice is top tier and the spicy basil beef was absolutely delicious with so much flavor. The restaurant itself is super clean and has a really welcoming atmosphere. Huge shoutout to my waiter Hassan, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the experience even better. The staff overall were great and everything came out perfect. No complaints at all, this place is seriously so good and definitely worth trying!

“Meh” is all I can say. It is standard Americanized Chinese food that is a bit too heavy on the sauce. You can see from the General Tso’s Chicken which I ordered below that (while the portion size is decent) there are very few vegetables and when I asked for some more vegetables, they charged me $4 for it.
While the atmosphere was nice, it definitely doesn’t justify paying $50 per person for dinner. You can get much better Chinese food for this price.

The lo mein was really bad, no flavor at all and severely undercooked. All you will taste is the soy sauce. Overpriced.

Step into a place where the elite have dined. From Kirsten Dunst to Betty White to Kristen Stewart to Adam Sandler. Enjoy great food and watch the door. You never know who will grace you with their presence!

From the moment we walked in, it was clear this place had built a serious reputation—everyone around us kept saying it was well worth the wait. I started with a French Martini that was crisp, well-balanced, and definitely not shy on the pour. For appetizers, we shared the crab angels and steamed dumplings, both packed with flavor and paired with sauces that really stood out, especially if you’re a fan of ginger-forward notes. For the main courses, we went with the Szechuan-style green beans with chicken and the sesame chicken served with fried rice. Everything arrived hot, flavorful, and satisfying, making the hype feel completely justified.
