Idk what was going on Theo weeks ago, but I took my daughter to see Beetlejuice and the lobby smelled like urine!!!! STRONG ODER!! and the service was slow, food was nasty, and cold. … don’t think I will be going back there anytime soon.

Nice place love to go here. Food is mediocre depending on what you get which is why I didn't give 5 stars

recently visited the IPIC movie theater in Atlanta, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome, especially in the lobby food area.

As I sat down to enjoy my meal, I was approached by staff members who were not only rude but also made me feel harassed for simply eating in the designated area. Their attitude was dismissive, and instead of providing assistance or guidance, they treated me as if I were doing something wrong. It was shocking to witness such a lack of professionalism.

To make matters worse, the management seemed completely indifferent to my concerns. When I tried to express my discomfort regarding the treatment I received, I was met with dismissive comments and a blatant disregard for my feelings. It felt as if I were being discriminated against for no apparent reason.

Overall, my visit to IPIC Atlanta was marred by poor customer service and an uncomfortable atmosphere. I left feeling disheartened and frustrated. I would not recommend this theater to anyone looking for an enjoyable movie experience.

You have to go! There is plenty of parking and the theater is very intimate. Make sure you get the crab cake burger!! Delicious ?

We loved the comfortable seating and in movie dining concept. Everything was good except the surprise service charge on our food bill. We were told about the $75 hold on our card (which we were ok with), but this information was not displayed. Our waitress never disclosed this information either. Having to pay the service charge took away from us paying the waitress a fair tip. Also, the alcoholic beverages were more expensive than the plates we ordered and not good.

I honestly never leave reviews, but my experience was so triggering, that I just had to. If I could report the front desk worker and the manager specifically I would. We were turned away on our anniversary night for being 20 mins late to a 3 hour long movie... that we already paid and reserved seats for. Mind you, this theater can't be just walked into off the street, we were there for at least 15 minutes prior just parking and finding the theater. The complete lack of accommodation is wild, especially for a theater claiming to service couples. Here are 4 reasonable reasons why we were 20 mins late:
1. I was recently seriously injured and due to my recovery, I now walk slow. We chose the movies because I'm no longer able to do our more active plans. We had to climb up 3 levels of stairs and a courtyard to get to the building...
2. There was a freaking hurricane slowing down and disrupting everything across the southeast United States.
3. Saturday night congestion & traffic
4. Life happens? Wouldn't it be common for couples to run late at dinner before their movie?!?! Better tell them to wrap it to go or you'll be turned away from your 3 hour movie.

The shocking lack of empathy and customer service is appalling for this price point and really just any business. I'd rather watch a bootleg version of the movie off a camcorder than give this theater a single $1 bill of mine.

I had actually suggested this theater to my spouse vs their original plan and I spent the whole weekend regretting I ever found this place...

Great theater for couples as the seating is more suited for privacy of just the two of you while still open and accessible for the attendants to deliver food and drinks. The food options are varied, and we've tried most everything. We both have always enjoyed everything we've ordered. Also offers a nice selection of wine and spirits. Pick a movie, take your favorite person, and enjoy some good food and drinks while enjoying the show.

Please be aware..........
My date and I decided to go see the movie A Journal For Jordan. We found this theater in the area and decided to head that direction since there were still seats available online. While driving to the location, we booked a ticket for the both of us at 6:34 p.m. for a show time starting at 6:45 p.m. We arrived to the theater a little after 7p.m. ( I was not really paying attention to the time of arrival). While there. We were greeted by the staff that a manager would be coming to speak with us. There was another couple waiting for this manager as well. We were greeted by the Mr. Daxon Patterson who is the Senior General Manager for this location.

He begins to tell us that they have a policy which states that if you are 15 minutes late to the show time, you will not be permitted inside the theater nor will there be any refund or compensation.
Mr. Patterson basically stated that it is not his fault we were late for the movie and he can not do anything about it. His words verbatim " be on time next time, or you can dispute the charge with your bank".

At this point, you can imagine the high emotions that a business has such an absurd policy. After some choice words and actions on my part. We left the theater mainly due to the actions of Mr. Kermit who is the Assistant Manager at this location.

After doing some research. When purchasing a ticket online. It does not readily tell you this egregious policy. While entering your card information. There is box you check agreeing to their policy. To the side of that, there is a link you can click on which goes in detail about their policy. After clicking on that policy link. You will find, (after scrolling down a good bit) there is a clause that states this policy. After purchasing the ticket. You get a receipt which shows this policy as well after scrolling to the bottom of the receipt.

I can not tell you how the movie experience is. What I can say is that this policy is senseless and for a business that appears to be upscale. Down right wrong. I will not support such a business that could care less about its customers patronizing it.

Hands down the best movie experience I have had in ATL. This is our go to theater. The seats are comfy and the drinks are nice. The food is great yet it can be a hit or miss. The old menu was amazing. This new menu can have several seats.
