I visited this fine establishment today for there lunch special with a good friend of mine. I must say the food is delicious!! We had the Jerk Chicken special. I had white rice and plantain, while my friend had there cabbage with plantain. I was a bit nervous as it was my first time visiting but this place exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be returning! Chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the cabbage which I tried a bit of was perfectly seasoned! I definitely recommend this place!

Born and raised eating Jamaican food. This is not authentic Jamaican food.

Oxtails and rice and peas were a major let down. Lacking many seasonings needed in Jamaican cuisine. Minimal thyme, 0 pimento, 0 scotch bonnet many more 0s and too much garlic/onion. Also tasted as if they added some sort of sweet barbecue sauce. It was like eating a sweet Asian bbq beef. Rice and peas 0 coconut milk 0 pimento 0 salt.

The filling of beef patty was soggy, tasteless mush. The crust was flat with no crisp. Suspect it is microwaved.

What makes this worse is that this meal was nearly $40.

Do not come here if seeking an authentic Jamaican experience.

I ordered the oxtail plate and curry chicken plate with mac & cheese, plus a beef patty and two Tropical Rhythm drinks. My total came to $94 — which caught me off guard — but let me tell you, it was worth every penny. The curry chicken was tender, flavorful, and literally fell off the bone. The oxtails? Same thing — juicy, rich, and perfectly seasoned. Will I come back? Yes, yes, YES!

This was a small discreet type place very lowkey and not anything fancy but The food here was delicious!!! You can tell they use fresh ingredients. The plates were expensive but they do give you very large portions and like I said the food was top tier. I will be back.

Every time we’re in Atlanta, Irie Mon Jamaican restaurant is a must! The food is absolutely amazing—authentic, flavorful, and always fresh. Prices are fair, and the hospitality is just as good as the food. The owner/chef is so warm and personable, always coming out to check on guests and make sure everything’s perfect. Truly a gem!

The food is absolutely AMAZING! Listen, when you do a “pop up restaurant” in particular at The Peachtree Center in Atlanta and the food tastes as good as the restaurant, you know you’re doing something right! Sooooooo good! And the service is impeccable. The guys are ALWAYS very nice and friendly and professional.
