The food is ridiculously expensive and I paid over $40 for an Uber eats order. I ordered the brown stew oxtail with rice peas and plantain. I received a totally different order of oxtail and shrimp pasta that contained spoiled cream and undercooked oxtail.

Tried this restaurant when they did a pop-up at my office. The jerk chicken was seasoned and sauced well and fell off the bone, cabbage had a lot of flavor, and the plantains were so good!! Great portions! Hoping they come back soon!!

Oxtail is the best in the city. Lots of meat, falling off the boat. Yams and plantains top notch. Found because it was the only Jamaican restaurant opened on Uber Eats after midnight. Definitely a warm (and welcomed) surprised. Now, my go -to spot.

Food was delicious and staff was lovely. Ashley was awesome. Being a new culinary experience for me she answered all my questions with a smile. The chef was really sweet. She personally checked on us and made sure we enjoyed our food!😍
The Oxtail, rice n peas, curry goat, fried chicken, fried shrimp and the curry chicken are a few of my favorite things to order from Irie Mon. Rice n Peas so nice I can just eat it with only gravy!
