Overall I had a great time. Food was delicious and our waiter attentive. 4 stars only given it is priced higher than other kbbq spots in the ATL metro area and offers less options.

Don’t get me wrong I love kbbq and I grew up always going to iron age(Duluth)so I wanted to try out their sister location with it being in a nicer area ! But it seems the quality of these establishments are declining all over…. While the service was wonderful and the servers were super sweet and attentive , the meat seemed to be old….
Raw meat coming out with BROWN and GREY spots should’ve been my first red flag ….. I tried to write it off as it maybe being the marinades… but it kept coming out grey and turned tougher than usual once cooked. This could only mean that the food safety of the red meats (bulgogi, brisket, etc) are not being held up to code… it use to be that it would come red and fresh…
For reference**** I recently went to 9292 for my bday 2 weeks ago and their meat was RED AND FRESH and you could tell as you ate it, and how your stomach could KEEP EATING it round after round without discomfort…we went through 7-8 meats haha***
so imagine my surprise that the brisket isn’t fresh like it used to be here at Iron Age! They keep it FROZEN! Which certainly attests to the freshness of their other meats.. I should’ve seen that as another red flag but we were being treated to dinner so I didn’t want to seem rude.
Also like I said— the staff was phenomenal at their job! So i didn’t want to cause any issues! But oh I wish I had! 😭 because now I am curled up in bed with awful stomach cramps and I can’t even stand to go about my day! I’ve been to the toilet 4 times within the morning [I woke up at 7am with pain and have been this way since, and it’s now 1 pm] and have been in so much pain and discomfort since last nights dinner… I’m just sooooo very glad I hadn’t ordered any chicken… I’m hoping this bug passes as I have events to attend this week, and I am also hoping that this is a wake up call to the establishment to please take food safety serious and PLEASE properly refrigerate their meats!!! You can tell when a meat has sat out— especially red meat as it tends to oxidizes AND SHOWS! Please be mindful of people’s health and practice food safety!
I literally would’ve thought nothing of it at the time if I wasn’t in such a state the day after… I should’ve listened to my gut feeling when I first took my picture ( just for aesthetics ofc!) and saw the meat was discolored as soon as they brought it out. Now I am DEFINETLY hearing my gut….😭😣😵💫😰
so I will give 5 stars for the service however -1 stars for their food quality !

We love coming to Iron Age as it's a whole experience from trying all of the different meats and cooking them ourselves. Our absolute favorite is beef bulgogi, it's very juicy and just has a wonderful taste. All of the food is very good. The service is great, they are very attentive. We always get seated very fast. I completely recommend this place if you want to have a great time.

Absolutely love this location. Food, service, and atmosphere is always good. We visit at least once every time we visit Atlanta. A bit pricey but we'll worth the experience.

Recommended dishes: Bulgogi, Iron Age Salad, Seasoned Steak, Beef Bulgogi, Kimche Salad
I’ve been here a few times and never left unsatisfied. The rice cakes are so yummy. The beef bulgogi is to die for. They have a large selection of meats for both lunch and dinner, lunch has more pork options so if you don’t eat pork, I’d recommend going during dinner. 10/10 every time

I love going here so much the lunch price (24$) is so worth for all you can eat. I love the bulgogi and i love the rice cakes and the salad... just everything is so tasty and the atmosphere is lively at dinner but more relaxed at lunch. Top tier stuff. Not authentic korean exactly but it tastes good! Lol

I drove 45 mins here thinking I would have at least an hour to eat since it say they closed at 12. I get there exactly at 11 and was turned around because they told me they stopped seating at 11! They should change their hours to stop confusion!
The food was good, the atmosphere was great but our servers were terrible, they were very impatient and rude, not nice at all, which was not my experience before. The soda they served us was flat! We were not happy at all with the service. Servers need better training.

I decided to treat my boyfriend to an impromptu birthday dinner at Iron Age on a Thursday evening, with no reservation. The lovely hostesses were able to set our table and seat us in less than one minute. We were greeted by our amazing server, Tasi/Tosi (please forgive me for the incorrect spelling), and given that my boyfriend had never dined at a Korean Steakhouse before, T was able to give him the rundown perfectly. There was also another server/server assistant, Cameron, who also took care of us. Both T and Cameron were very helpful and attentive, most of all. My boyfriend and I took advantage of their Kimchi, Dinner Special (All You Can Eat for $32 per person), and 2 cocktails that were a part of their holiday menu; we never went without our water running low or a little assistance for 2 rookies with preparing our meats on the grill. I was able to sneak away from my table to kindly ask for a birthday treat for the birthday boy, and they executed with no hassle. One of the hostesses who seemed to be behind the bar that night also did an amazing job with our cocktails. From our first step inside Iron Age to departing, 10/10. Lastly, I'd like to give a major shoutout to our servers, T and Cameron. Thank you for GREAT service on this special occasion.
