I got the curried goat, rice and peas with plantain. My order was incorrect , check your food. The goat was good. The curry was a tad chalky but the goat tasted very good and it was fresh. The portions are fair. The plaintain was perfection. The rice and peas was not very flavorful. The light skin lady who took my order was the nicest. The kitchen misread my order , because the lady repeated my order back to me.
Hands down my favorite spot for Curry Goat. Each time the flavor, portion size and tenderness has been consistent. The meat isn't chewy and falls apart nicely. Plantains are great. We even eat the cabbage (I don't at most places). Good portion of meat and not a lot of fat. Keep this up and this will continue to be my weekly stop.
My family and I visited while we were on vacation and it was quite good! We had oxtail with yellow rice was good (that was a first with yellow rice cause I'm Jamaican and love me some rice and peas! Red or gungoo will do always!), ackee and saltfish with fried dumplings and sweet plantains, ackee and saltfish patties, and my favorite: Split Peas soup with oxtail was slamming!).
