Go across the same parking lot to YGF Malatang. You'll thank me later.
- the food was not good. Solid 2/10; I'd rather go to Panda Express.
- the owner (bald dude) refused to let us sit against the wall, and forced my 3-month-old boy to be exposed to the cold December air everytime the door opened. Keep in mind there was plenty of space, only 2 groups were there.
- desipite calling their food Sichuan, none of it was even slightly spicy, even the chili sauce! I've never had worse Sichuan than here.
- the waitress seemed to really not want to serve us, even though we were only a party of 4 and there were only 2 other groups there. I didn't get her name, but she was a middle-aged women of asian descent
Seriously just go to YGF Malatang, or even McDonalds. Don't waste your time or money

I ordered the walnut shrimp and it was so salty it tasted like someone had poured an entire container of salt into it. When I politely mentioned it to the manager, he grabbed my plate and threw it in the garbage with an unbelievable attitude. I’ve never experienced such rude behavior in a restaurant before.
Maybe he was having a bad day, but either way, I will not be coming back. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. 😡😡😡😡

The manager is insane. I order walnut shrimp and it was super salty like some one pour the whole salt 🧂 in it . When I told him he grabbed my plate and he threw it in the garbage with a huge attitude like I have never seen in my life .
I don’t know if he was having a bad day but I will not be coming back to this restaurant at all.
I will not recommend it for no one 😡😡😡

This is honestly one of the best restaurants ever! We ate here every week when living in Atlanta and we miss it so bad now that we have moved away. They always went out of their way to make a tofu version of General Tso’s chicken for me, even though it wasn’t on the menu.
I don’t visit this place often, but I came a few years ago after being introduced to a Korean-Chinese restaurant, and I remembered the old flavor.
This time, the food arrived quickly after ordering, which was nice.
The sweet and sour pork was disappointing. The batter was much thicker than the meat itself. At first, the heavy coating masked the odor, but once it cooled and I separated the batter, the meat underneath gave off an unpleasant smell.
The black bean noodles also fell short. It seemed like the meat and lard were stir-fried together, but the lard ratio was so high.
The flavor and texture felt unbalanced, missing the richness and depth I remembered from the past.
This used to be one of the few Korean-Chinese restaurants in the old Koreatown in Doraville, but unfortunately, the “old flavor” that once made it special is gone. With the quality now, I don’t see much reason to return.

I have only eaten in J-Bistro once but have had takeout many times (at least once every 2 weeks over 4 years). Each time the food is good and ready when I arrive.

Okay this was a great surprise! We always shop at h-mart in the same mall and eat at the food court but decided to try something new. I’m so glad we tried! The food is delicious, free jasmine tea, and the size is huge! You can certainly share some of the meals. Service is excellent as well. Highly recommend.
