went to JJ's Fish & Chicken for the first time and had a great experience! A lovely young lady named Density greeted me with a big smile and took my order. She helped me choose the salmon bites with 10 oz wings, and her energy was amazing. I truly appreciated her friendly and cheerful vibe — it made my visit even better. Thank you, Density, for your great service and warm personality!

Went here this afternoon with my dad and brother in law at 4pm. I Had single order ( 10 wings and your choice of fries or celery/ blue cheese with a sprite to drink. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all and quick service. They cook everything fresh to order...and you can definitely taste it too. If you are in the Riverdale, area..check them out.

I went in for food about 2-3 weeks ago. Unfortunately there was one waitress/bartender there and she was more concerned with her friends at the bar than serving our table. I didn’t receive a drink for about 45 minutes. My food came before I got a drink. She didn’t check on us, and I had to waive her down to remind her about my drink. Very disappointing.

You know I’ve really tried with this place and I only come here because they stay open late ( and that’s subjective) and it’s convenient. They already over charge for EVERYTHING. I went tonight and specifically ask for a med ranch and a med blue cheese. All for me to get my food and they give me all blue cheese then when I bring it to their attention they say “ we are out of ranch” why would you even let me order the food. Yall already charge $2.99 for all flats, a automatic service gratuity. I see why this place barely gets any business. Then tried to give me some ranch out of the bar that’s next to beer like if I wanted hidden valley ranch I could get that at home. It’s no way I paid $45 for wings and shrimp at a fast food bar. I should have just went to the 50 yard line for this mess.

Ordered food off DoorDash. There was no sauce on the wings no seasoning just plain wings. The fries had no seasoning. You pay all this money to have an order delivered and you can’t even eat the food. Why go to work if you not gonna do the work? It just behooves me that every time I order …this is what I get. Either something is missing , you just throw it together and send it out. Like you don’t want people to come back? You loosing business by sending out trashy food. Needless to say, that I’m done with this place. Been in business too long to be serving trashy food like this.

The daughter has the nastiest attitude on earth. She’s rude, disrespectful, and her service is horrible. She messes up orders, forgets drinks, and all. The parents never hold her accountable. Which sucks because the food is actually good.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had at anywhere in Atlanta!!!! I come in to purchase there said Wednesday special! I ordered and paid with the lady behind the counter only for the RUDEST women I have ever met in my life to come back and say we have to void this because it’s for dine in only! She did all this before I could say if I was staying in to eat or not!! It is always the black owned or ran business that do the rudest most unpleasant experiences and they wonder why ppl don’t want to shop with them. I will never suggest ANYONE EVER VISITS THIS LOCATION!!! I will never come back here and I don’t think anyone of your should either!!!!!

I’m honestly shocked by my experience at this place. It’s brand new, but it already looks old and shabby—like it hasn’t been properly taken care of. The vibe is just off. To make things worse, they add automatic gratuity to your bill, which feels unfair, especially when you’re not expecting it. I ordered wings for $13, but when I looked at the total, it came to $17. That extra charge wasn’t explained, and it just seemed like a sneaky way to hike up the price without notice.

The cleanliness of the place was another big issue. It felt unsanitary from the start. There was a dog roaming around the establishment, which is just not acceptable in a food setting. On top of that, someone’s box of food was placed inside the drink cooler, which is completely unhygienic and unprofessional. The whole experience felt off, and it seemed like no one was really paying attention to the details. Overall, I’m beyond unsatisfied with my visit, and I won’t be coming back. I’d advise anyone thinking about going here to seriously reconsider. It’s disappointing to see a place that could be nice fall so short in so many ways.

VERY rude , bad customer service, bartender lady was so rude going back and fourth with me when MY order was wrong and it shows on the receipt that my order was wrong. She didn’t want to put her pride aside and apologize and remake my order. She told the cooks don’t make me order over even when he came and looked at my receipt and SAW that my order was wrong, i asked for LEMON PEPPER wings and got lemony pepper wings. We had to wait to the manager arrived (when the stored closed) to resolve this issue. I DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL DO NOT GO THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE and the bartender should be fired cause that was ridiculous. I just wanted what i paid for that is all

This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I can’t understand why the staff, particularly this one woman, treated me and my daughter so poorly. We were simply trying to resolve an issue with our order. I called ahead and was told that if there was a mistake, it would be fixed. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, this woman began insulting me and aggressively using profanity. She wouldn’t even touch the bag of food she prepared for us, nor would she acknowledge that instead of the lemon pepper wings we ordered, we received lemony pepper wings, which are just mild wings with lemon pepper seasoning.

For 30 minutes, she argued with the cook and me, refusing to provide service and telling the cook not to address the issue. The cook even attempted to fix the order and pay for it but she called him names for trying to diffuse the situation. It wasn’t until 45 minutes later that the manager arrived to close the store. I informed her of the situation, and then she finally fixed part of the order, but the original food was cold. She started cleaning and sweeping and acted as if she wanted to sweep out feet if we didn’t move.

I’m thankful I used DoorDash because this awful server didn’t receive any gratuity from me. I would not recommend ordering from here. There are other locations with much better customer service. I never imagined that asking for a correction to an order I paid for would lead to such disrespect. I thank God for my beauty, brains and COMPOSURE—this behavior was completely unacceptable.

Forced 18% Gratuity on Carryout? Absolutely Ridiculous!
I usually don’t take the time to leave bad reviews, but this experience at JR Crickets was beyond frustrating. I ordered carryout, picked up my food, and left—no table service, no waiter, no extra effort on their part—yet they charged me an 18% gratuity. FOR WHAT?

I’ve supported this place before. Yet, instead of being treated with respect as a valued customer, I was scammed into paying nearly 20% extra for zero service.

Let me break it down:
✅ I ordered my food.
✅ I picked it up myself.
✅ No one served me, no one assisted me, and no one deserved a tip.
❌ Yet somehow, I’m being forced to tip just for walking in the door?

When I asked about it, the staff gave me a half-hearted excuse about it being "policy"—but let’s be real, it’s nothing but a shady money grab. A gratuity is meant for actual service, not for simply handing me a bag of food.

And let’s not ignore the bare-minimum effort from the employees. No greeting, no thank you, just a robotic transaction and a ridiculous extra charge.

If you plan on ordering from here, check your receipt carefully, because they’ll take your money without actually earning it. It’s a real shame because the food was decent, but this shady practice ensures I will NOT be coming back.
