Experience from 8 years ago as an employee and consumer of their ice cream:Each flavor was unique in its own way. Salted Caramel and Coffee Toffee were my favorites.Their jalapeño and cheese bagel was to die for.Very friendly atmosphere.Definitely have to come back.*honorable mentions: juice bar and nic nak shop. (Hope both are still there after all these years).Shoutout to Tony, as well.

Sweet potato ice cream was good. You can taste the sweet potato at the end.

Shawn is a delight who made our entire experience amazing! Delicious ice cream and reasonably priced!

When you walk through the door you are immediately greeted with a smile and great service. The ice cream is sweet, savory and delicious. It dissolves in your mouth, leaving your tongue with flavor while your mouth gets ready for the next bite. It’s very light, it doesn’t leave you feeling bloated and heavy. I highly recommend!

This was our first time here, and the ice cream was delicious! Shaun was so helpful in helping me decide which flavor to get. Will definitely be back!

Love this place, great ice cream, but I’ve come here 2 days in a row now and they’re not open during business hours, not a huge deal just annoyed driving all the way here and them being closed.

Came to the market for meal prep (trying to be healthy, y'all), left with 3 scoops of ice cream ??‍♀️. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!Here's what I had:?Mimosa-flavored ice cream (I believe it was pineapple mimosa). This flavor was incredible, the champagne ? flavor is very noticeable. Absolutely delicious.? Sweet potato pie ice cream: Tasted good, but the sweet potato was subtle. If I didn't know it was supposed to be sweet potato I probably wouldn't have guessed it.?Lemon ginger custard: Another good one.Almost forgot to mention the very sweet young lady who guided me through the flavors and offering samples.

I’ve been going to Jake’s since it was JD Rothschild’s, when the ice cream was delicious, with great flavors, generous portions, and a fun, vibrant setting. We just went tonight and will never go back. The portions were tiny, the ice cream wasn’t nearly as rich as it once was, it was almost melted, and the interior is dilapidated at best. The root beer float used to be a favorite flavor and the quality has dropped significantly. And there was no chocolate or vanilla, that’s crazy! I don’t know what happened, but it breaks my heart as this was one of our favorite places for years.

I ordered the Coffee and Donuts flavor through Uber Eats. So VERY disappointing! There was NO HINT of coffee flavor and it tasted more like ice MILK instead of ice cream! The texture was not pleasing at all

Sorbets were pretty good, more like water ice but still tasty. The man who served us was very polite and friendly, place seems a little worn down but just needs a little extra love! Overall happy with our visit

Yikes.Pro: The price matched up with the quality of the ice cream. Decent.Cons: The place was filthy and also dilapidated. The filth however is harder to forgive, as that is something that could be controlled if anyone ever bothered to clean.A panhandler was allowed to circulate, without encumbrance, through the restaurant and patio asking the patrons for money.Neutral: The employee was clearly unhappy and bored, but was neither particularly rude nor particularly polite. Detached and on their phone. There were no smiles or greetings.

Save your money. Dairy Queen has better ice cream with more flavor. I'm not even certain this fits the legal definition of "ice cream". Plus, it is packed with people who come from the Beltline and parking is limited at best.

Ice cream was really good, you could tell that they're passionate about what they make. Only critique is I wasn't 100% sure it was open because the main building looked closed??
