As someone who has spent my hard earned money here faithfully, I will never patronize this establishment again. The level of disrespect has gotten completely out of hand. They even upcharged me for oxtails, and when I caught it, the staff stood there looking absolutely dumbfounded, as if they had no idea what was going on.
The prices are outrageous, the food quality has noticeably declined, and after using them once for an event, I can confidently say I will never make that mistake again.
To anyone coming here, check your receipt carefully, you’ll notice all kinds of unnecessary fees and extra charges just for someone to ring you up. I’ll definitely be sending a formal complaint to the state regarding these predatory and unjustified charges.

atmosphere was bit dark when you walk in. I was disappointed they didn't have lunch specials.. no plantains.. no festivals.. and the jerk chicken was kinda undercooked although it was tender.. Also they drown my rice with gravy.. I CAN SAY FLAVOR WAS THERE.. BUT I won't be going Again.. prices are out my budget and drinks are expensive as well.🤷🏾‍♀️

I called to complain about the order that was incorrect. The rice was sticky and cold and white meat chicken was bleeding. She was NASTY and RUDE. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MOMEY and eat this food. I will also be contacting the health department. You dont serve raw chicken.

The place is beautiful however the music was very explicit. I had my two children with me like cmon man at least play the clean version in the day time when kids and elderly visit. Unu can keep the ragga ragga and cussing until midnight. I spent $72 for 1small jerk meal, 1 small oxtail meal, and extra side of oxtail. The food looked so good but the taste of the oxtail was wayyy off. Jerk chicken was okay. Literally worse oxtail I've eaten in my life. Very bland and fat need to trim. Rice had a burnt flavor/scent. Bwoy if you go by looks alone you will be totally deceived. The parking lot is tight you have to know how to drive to park there.

I spent $78 on oxtails last night and it was nasty no flavor no season nothing but what’s crazy is it smelled and looked good ☹️ worse Jamaican food I’ve ever had in my life I was better off going to golden crust

Overpriced

Bought a plate of brown stew chicken. Gravy was so horrible! Their policy is that they don’t do refunds so i asked for something different and was willing to pay the difference. She refused to exchange and refund. Will not be returning!

I went today 10/12/2024. The light skinned male server was very nasty. I try to patronize black businesses as much as I can but the employees in the businesses treat you like you are trash. He showed no respect for Jamrock customer. The food was not great! I traveled 5 miles to get there because in the past was delicious.I spent $59 on 3 plates. I will never go back.Beware!

Have never had a bad meal here. Just walking up you can smell the wood smoke and you know it's gonna be good. Do yourself a favor and try it out, a large plate is easily two meals even for a big appetite.

The food was tasteless. The cabbage and plantain were okay. The beef patty was good, but the curry goat and brown stew chicken was the worst I’ve had. Plus they overcharged for the entrees. Avoid this place if you can.
